- 4. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the bus bar is spaced apart from and substantially parallel to a major surface of the circuit board.
- 5. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the at least one terminal is electrically connected to one of a power plane or a ground plane of the circuit board.
- 6. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the bus bar is electrically connected to the circuit board at a plurality of separate terminals located at different positions on the circuit board.
- 7. The apparatus of claim 6, wherein the bus bar is bifurcated into a plurality of branches, wherein each of the plurality of branches is joined to at least one of the plurality of separate terminals and integral with the electrical interconnect.
- 8. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the bus bar extends along a straight line between the at least one terminal and the edge of the circuit board.
- 9. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the bus bar deviates substantially from along a straight line between the at least one terminal and the edge of the circuit board.
- 10. The apparatus of claim 9, wherein the bus bar comprises an acute angle bend along a span of the bus bar between the at least one terminal and the edge of the circuit board.
- 11. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the at least one electrical interconnect further comprises a plurality of blades integral with the bus bar, wherein each of the plurality of blades extends for at least the second distance from the bus bar.
- 12. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a through hole in the bus bar adjacent to the edge of the circuit board and positioned apart from the electrical interconnect.
- 13. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a threaded stud integral with and extending from the bus bar adjacent to the edge of the circuit board and positioned apart from the electrical interconnect.
- 14. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a threaded nut integrally attached to the bus bar adjacent to the edge of the circuit board and positioned apart from the electrical interconnect.
- 15. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the bus bar further comprises at least one tab configured for insertion into the at least one terminal of the circuit board.
- 16. The apparatus of claim 15, further comprising at least one shoulder attached to the bus bar for holding the bus bar spaced apart from the circuit board and interposed between the at least one tab and the bus bar.
- 17. The apparatus of claim 1, wherein the circuit board comprises an electric power supply,
- 18. The apparatus of claim 17, wherein the electric power supply comprising a circuit for receiving input electric power, modifying selected properties of the input electrical power to produce output electric power, and distributing the output electric power to the at least one electrical interconnect.
- 19. The apparatus of claim 18, wherein at least one of the input electrical power and the output electrical power is carried by the bus bar between the at least one wire and the at least one terminal.
- 20. The apparatus of claim 1, further comprising a second bus bar electrically insulated from the bus bar, the second bus bar connected to a second at least one terminal located a third distance away from the edge of the circuit board and spanning the third distance between the second at least one terminal and the edge of the circuit board.
- 21. The apparatus of claim 20, further comprising a second at least one electrical interconnect integral with and extending a fourth distance away from the second bus bar adjacent to the edge of the printed circuit board, wherein the third distance is at least about twice as great as the fourth distance, and wherein the second at least one electrical interconnect is configured to mate with a second quick-disconnect receptacle for providing a quick-disconnect electrical connection to a second at least one wire.
- 22. The apparatus of claim 21, wherein the second at least one electrical interconnect is adjacent to the at least one electrical interconnect.
- 23. The apparatus of claim 22, wherein the bus bar further comprises a first horizontal portion and a first vertical portion, and the second bus bar further comprises a second horizontal portion and a second vertical portion, and wherein the bus bar and the second bus bar are paired and positioned so that the first vertical portion, the first horizontal portion, the second horizontal portion, and the second vertical portion together define a rectangle adjacent to the edge of the circuit board.
