Claims
- 1. N-substituted azole of the formula I ##STR18## where R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 are each hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkoxy, C.sub.3 -C.sub.10 -cycloalkyl, nitro or cyano,
- Q is an unsubstituted or substituted azole group of the formulae ##STR19## R.sup.7 to R.sup.9 denoting hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy, C.sub.3 -C.sub.10 -cycloalkyl or phenyl or naphthyl which is unsubstituted or mono-, di- or trisubstituted by halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 -alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -haloalkoxy, and
- X is --OCH.sub.2 --.
- 2. A composition for combating insects, mites and nematodes containing an N-substituted azole as set forth in claim 1, together with conventional carriers.
- 3. A composition for combating insects, mites and nematodes as set forth in claim 2, containing from 0.1 to 95 wt % of an N-substituted azole of the formula I.
- 4. A process for combating insects, arachnids and nematodes, wherein the insects, arachnids and nematodes, or the areas or spaces to be kept free from insects, arachnids and nematodes are treated with a pesticidally effective amount of an N-substituted azole of the formula I as set forth in claim 1.
