A battery compartment 160 can be provided to house a battery inside the nail brush 100. A brush head 140 can also be provided on the bottom portion 120 of the nail brush 100, which can allow one to clean cuticle areas of the nails and fine lines in the hands. The brush head 140 can also be configured to rotate, and can be provided along the same rotating head 105, as described below. The brush head 140 can be made of bristles 145 of various lengths, thicknesses and materials, and any number of bristles 145 can be provided on the brush head 140. The bristles 145 can extend perpendicular to the brush head 140 as shown in FIG. 2.

In some exemplary embodiments, the rotating head 105 can be configured to rotate in one direction (e.g., clockwise), causing both the rotating brush 120 and the brush head 140 to rotate in the one direction. The nail brush 100 can be flipped over if the user wants to clean in an opposite direction (e.g., counter clockwise) to remove dirt in the nails. In some exemplary embodiments, a rotating head 105 can be provided that can rotate in both clockwise and counter clockwise directions, and a button can be provided on the housing to switch between the two directions, causing both the rotating brush 120 and the brush head 140 to rotate in both the clockwise and counter clockwise directions.

In some exemplary embodiments, the brush head 140 can be separate from the rotating head 105, with different switches allowing the user to turn either one of the rotating brush 120 or brush head 140 on or off, or one switch capable of independently turning only one or both of the rotating brush 120 or brush head 140 on or off. In some exemplary embodiments, the rotating brush 120 and the brush head 140 can have different bristle types for, e.g., different cleaning jobs. For example, the rotating brush 120 can have shorter, stiff bristles which can be helpful in cleaning under the nails and the brush head 140 can have longer, softer bristles which can be helpful in cleaning cuticles. In some exemplary embodiments, the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140 can be replaceable, so the user can replace once there is wear and tear, or replace as needed for different types of bristles on the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140. For example, the housing of the nail brush 100 can be configured to be opened (e.g., along a front portion), so the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140 can be replaced, or the rotating head 105 can be replaced which can have both the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140 on it.

FIG. 3 is an illustration of a cross section of a nail brush 100 according to an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure. A battery 165 can be provided that powers a motor 170 within the housing of the nail brush 100. The motor 170 is connected to and rotates rotating head 105, which is connected to both the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140. In some exemplary embodiments, the nail brush 100 can be water resistant. For example, battery door seals 175 can be provided in the battery compartment 160 to keep the battery 165 dry. A rubber gasket 180 can be provided within the battery compartment 160 to keep the battery 165 dry. The power switch 150 can include a rubber seal 155 that can seal off the circuit board within the housing of the nail brush 100 from water. Seals can be provided along the apertures for the rotating brush 120 and the brush head 140 so that the nail brush 100 can be water resistant. As can be seen, the brush head 140 and rotating brush 120 can be provided on a unitary structure so that both rotate when the motor is activated by power switch 150.

In use, when the user presses the power switch 150, power from the battery 165 can be provided to the motor 170 to rotate the rotating head 105 causing the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140 to rotate so a user can clean their nails and/or cuticles using either the rotating brush 120 or brush head. As shown in FIG. 3, the rotating head 105 is connected (or integral) to both the rotating head 120 and the brush head 140 so that when the rotating head 105 moves in one direction (e.g., clockwise), both the rotating brush 120 and the brush head 140 rotate in the same direction as well. Pressing the power switch 150 again or releasing the power switch 150 can stop the power from the battery 165 to the motor 170, stopping the rotating brush 120 and brush head 140 from spinning. In some exemplary embodiments, the power switch can have various positions so that a first position can turn only the rotating brush 120 on (e.g., an independent mechanism from the motor to the rotating brush 120), a second position can turn only the brush head 140 on (e.g., an independent mechanism from the motor to the brush 140), a third position can turn both the rotating head 120 and the brush head 140 on (e.g., as shown in FIG. 3), and a fourth position can be an off position. Various switches can be provided to provide various configurations of the nail brush 100, and the nail brush is not limited to any particular embodiment.

Various other considerations can also be addressed in the exemplary applications described according to the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure. For example, various materials may be used to construct the elements described in the figures. Various sizes and dimensions of the elements can be provided, as well as shapes for the nail brush 100, including the housing, brushes, and various parts of the nail brush 100. The battery or batteries can be disposable, rechargeable or the nail brush can be connected to an electrical outlet so a battery is not required. Various switches can be provided to provide power to both the rotating head 120 and the brush head 140 together or separately. In some exemplary embodiments, switches can be provided to provide a low or high power to the rotating head 120 and the brush head 140, so that different speeds of rotation can be provided to the rotating head 120 and the brush head 140. A light can be added to the housing, such as the front portion for the rotating brush and the bottom portion for the brush head, which can be turned on automatically when the power switch is turned on for the respective brush.

Various advantages are provided in the nail brush 100 according to the exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure. For example, the nail brush 100 being electromechanical can allow the user to get a better result when cleaning their nails as the motion of the brushes can allow for more vigorous cleaning of the nails and cuticles than by using a manual brush. The product can be water resistant so a user can use the product while washing their hands or bathing. The nail brush can be shaped to fit comfortably in either the left or right hand and can clean in both the clockwise and counter clockwise directions. The nail brush 100 can be used to clean both fingernails and toenails. In some exemplary embodiments, the rotating brush or brush head can be replaced with a grinding stone or grinding file to shape, buff and shine a user's nails.

The foregoing merely illustrates the principles of the disclosure. Various modifications and alterations to the described embodiments will be apparent to those skilled in the art in view of the teachings herein. It will thus be appreciated that those skilled in the art will be able to devise numerous systems, arrangements, manufacture and methods which, although not explicitly shown or described herein, embody the principles of the disclosure and are thus within the spirit and scope of the disclosure.
