Claims
- 1. In a method for fabricating a sodium sulfur battery having iron, cobalt or nickel based container or component surfaces and operable at temperatures of 300.degree. C. or higher, where said container or component surface is exposed to sulfur-sodium polysulfide melts, the improvement which comprises:
- aluminiding said surfaces prior to fabrication of said battery.
- 2. A method according to claim 1, wherein said aluminiding is by pack aluminiding.
- 3. A method according to claim 1, wherein said component is a container for the sulfur cell of said sodium-sulfur battery.
