Claims
- 1. A dental implant prosthetic system, comprising:
a dental implant having a coronal end with an internally threaded bore; a plurality of angled prosthetic teeth, each tooth adapted to connect to the coronal end of the implant and each tooth having a metallic core and a ceramic crown with a coronal portion and an apical portion, wherein the crown is prefabricated to have an anatomical shape and size of a natural human tooth, and wherein the coronal portion is canted with respect to the apical portion; and a screw adapted to connect the core to the implant.
- 2. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 1 wherein the apical portion has a central longitudinal axis and the coronal portion has a central second axis that is angled with respect to the longitudinal axis.
- 3. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 2 wherein the crown has a shape of an incisor or canine.
- 4. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 3 wherein the crown is fabricated from aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, a composite of aluminum oxide and zirconium oxide, polymeric material, or a combination of ceramic and polymeric materials.
- 5. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 4 wherein the crown has a natural color of human teeth.
- 6. A dental implant prosthetic system, comprising:
a dental implant having a coronal end with an internally threaded bore; a plurality of prosthetic teeth, each tooth adapted to connect to the coronal end of the implant and each tooth having a ceramic crown and a metallic core with a top portion and a bottom portion, wherein the crown is prefabricated to have an anatomical shape and size of a natural human tooth, and wherein the top portion is canted with respect to the bottom portion to provide angular prosthetic teeth; and a screw adapted to connect the core to the implant.
- 7. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 6 wherein a single longitudinal axis centrally extends through the dental implant, screw, and bottom portion of the core, and wherein a second axis is offset from the longitudinal axis and centrally extends through the top portion of the core.
- 8. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 7 wherein the core is formed from two pieces: the bottom portion and the top portion.
- 9. The dental implant prosthetic system in claim 7 wherein the core is formed from a single piece of titanium or titanium alloy, and the top portion has a cylindrical or frusto-conical geometry.
- 10. A dental implant prosthetic kit, comprising:
a plurality of angled prosthetic teeth having an external crown and an internal core adapted to connect to a coronal end of a dental implant, wherein the crown surrounds an outer surface of the core and is manufactured to have a hardened ceramic outer surface that has an anatomical shape and size of a natural human tooth, and wherein the crown has a top portion that is canted with respect to a bottom portion.
- 11. The dental implant prosthetic kit of claim 10 wherein the prosthetic teeth include one of incisor, canine, premolar, or molar.
- 12. The dental implant prosthetic kit of claim 10 wherein the top portion is canted to provide angular correction of the prosthetic teeth in a jawbone.
