The disclosure and prior art relates to necktie devices and more particularly pertains to a new necktie device for enhancing an ornamental appearance of a necktie.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a necktie that may be worn around a neck. The necktie has a plurality of button holes extending therethrough. A plurality of buttons is provided and each of the buttons is coupled to the necktie. A selected one of the buttons engages a selected one of the button holes when the necktie is worn. Thus, the plurality of buttons enhances an ornamental appearance of the necktie.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated.
There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
The back panel 22 corresponding to the front apron 16 has a plurality of button holes 26 extending therethrough. Each of the button holes 26 is spaced apart from each other. Moreover, the button holes 26 are vertically distributed on the front apron 16 proximate the end 24 corresponding to the front apron 16. The necktie 12 is tied in a knot around the neck. Thus, the back panel 22 corresponding to the front apron 16 abuts the back panel 22 corresponding to the rear apron 14.
A plurality of buttons 28 is provided. Each of the buttons 28 is coupled to the necktie 12. A selected one of the buttons 28 engages a selected one of the button holes 26 when the necktie 12 is worn. Thus, the plurality of buttons 28 enhances an ornamental appearance of the necktie 12.
The plurality of buttons 28 comprises a first button 30 that is coupled to the front panel 20 corresponding to the front apron 16. The first button 30 is centrally positioned on the necktie 12. A cap 32 is selectively coupled to the first button 30 such that the cap 32 conceals the first button 30. The cap 32 may frictionally engage the button thereby removably retaining the cap 32 on the first button 30.
A set of second buttons 34 is provided and each of the second buttons 34 is coupled to the front panel 20 corresponding to the rear apron 14. The second buttons 34 are spaced apart from each other. Moreover, the second buttons 34 are vertically distributed on the rear apron 14 proximate the end 24 corresponding to the rear apron 14. Each of the second buttons 34 is aligned with the button holes 26 when the necktie 12 is worn. A selected one of the second buttons 34 engages a selected one of the button holes 26. Thus, the rear apron 14 is removably coupled to the front apron 16.
In use, the necktie 12 is worn in the convention of neckties. The necktie 12 is tied in a selected one of an ornamental knot associated with neckties. Thus, the neckband 18 forms a closed loop around the neck. Each of the front apron 16 and the rear apron 14 extends downwardly from the neck when the necktie 12 is worn. A selected one of the second buttons 34 is manipulated to engage a selected one of the button holes 26. Thus, the rear apron 14 is resiliently aligned with the front apron 16 thereby enhancing an ornamental appearance of the necktie 12.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
