Claims
- 1. A method for reducing the drift during aerial spraying or discharge of an aqueous composition containing water as the major component comprising the steps of
- admixing with said aqueous composition prior to said spraying or discharge, a drift control agent composition comprising
- a) from about 0.01 to about 0.275% by weight per unit volume at final dilution of a guar composition selected from the group consisting of hydroxy propyl guar, carboxy methyl hydroxy propyl guar, and combinations thereof; and
- b) a compound known to function as a drift control agent with the proviso that the compound in said aqueous composition be present only in a Newtonianly effective amount; and
- aerially spraying or discharging the admixture.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the guar composition in said aqueous composition is from about 0.05 to about 0.125% by weight per unit volume at final dilution.
- 3. The method of claim 1 wherein said aqueous composition contains a bioactively effective amount of a bioactive.
- 4. The method of claim 3 wherein said bioactive is a pesticide.
