Claims
        
                - 1. A nitrile group-containing, highly saturated copolymer rubber, the copolymer chain of which comprises, based on the weight of the copolymer chain, (1) 5 to 40% by weight of units of an unsaturated nitrile monomer, (2) 1 to 80% by weight of units of an aminoalkyl ester of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, having 1 to 12 carbon atoms in the aminoalkyl group, and (3) up to 20% by weight of units of a conjugated diene monomer, with the balance being (4) units of a hydrogenated conjugated diene monomer, wherein the sum of the contents of the monomer units (1) and (2) is 30 to 90% by weight and the sum of the contents of the monomer units (3) and (4) is 10 to 70% by weight.
 
                - 2. The copolymer rubber according to claim 1, wherein the unsaturated nitrile monomer is selected from the group consisting of acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile and .alpha.-chloroacrylonitrile.
 
                - 3. The copolymer rubber according to claim 1, wherein the ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid is acrylic acid or methacrylic acid.
 
                - 4. The copolymer rubber according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the monomer units (1) is 10 to 35% by weight, the amount of the monomer units (2) is 15 to 60% by weight, and the sum of the amounts of the monomer units (1) and (2) is 40 to 90% by weight.
 
                - 5. The copolymer rubber according to claim 1, wherein the conjugated diene monomer is selected from the group consisting of butadiene and isoprene.
 
                - 6. The copolymer rubber according to claim 1, wherein the amount of the monomer units (3) is up to 15% by weight and the sum of the amounts of the monomer units (3) and (4) is 10 to 60% by weight.
 
                - 7. A rubber composition comprising 25 to 90% by weight, based on the rubber composition, of a nitrile group containing, highly saturated copolymer rubber and 75 to 10% by weight, based on the rubber composition, of additives; the copolymer chain of said nitrile group containing, highly saturated copolymer rubber comprising, based on the weight of the copolymer chain, (1) 5 to 40% by weight of units of an unsaturated nitrile monomer, (2) 1 to 80% by weight of units of an aminoalkyl ester of an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid, having 1 to 12 carbon atoms in the aminoalkyl group, and (3) up to 20% by weight of units of a conjugated diene monomer, with the balance being (4) units of a hydrogenated conjugated diene monomer, wherein the sum of the contents of the monomer units (1) and (2) is 30 to 90% and the sum of the contents of the monomer units (3) and (4) is 10 to 70% by weight.
 
                - 8. The rubber composition according to claim 7, wherein the unsaturated nitrile monomer is selected from the group consisting of acrylonitrile, methacrylonitrile and .alpha.-chloroacrylonitrile.
 
                - 9. The rubber composition according to claim 7, wherein the ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid is acrylic acid or methacrylic acid.
 
                - 10. The rubber composition according to claim 7, wherein the amount of the monomer units (1) is 10 to 35% by weight, the amount of the monomer units (2) is 15 to 60% by weight, and the sum of the mounts of the monomer units (1) and (2) is 40 to 90% by weight.
 
                - 11. The rubber according to claim 7, wherein the conjugated diene monomer is selected from the group consisting of butadiene and isoprene.
 
                - 12. The rubber according to claim 7, wherein the amount of the monomer units (3) is up to 15% by weight and the sum of the amounts of the monomer units (3) and (4) is 10 to 60% by weight.
