Claims
- 1. An amino-p-hydroxyphenylisopropyl substituted diphenyl ether having the formula
- wherein R, R.sup.1, and R.sup.2 are independently selected from the group consisting of alkyl, aryl, and aralkyl, and cycloalkyl; and n, m, and p each have an independent value of 0 to 4, inclusive.
- 2. A diphenyl ether according to claim 1 wherein the amino group is in the para position relative to the ether linkage.
- 3. A diphenyl ether according to claim 2 wherein R, R.sup.1, and R.sup.2 are each alkyl and n, m, and p each have an independent value of 0 to 2, inclusive.
- 4. A diphenyl ether according to claim 3 wherein n, m, and p are zero.
