Claims
- 1. A noise eliminating apparatus for use in a high-frequency transmission system for transmitting high-frequency signals through unbalanced lines comprising coaxial cables, to eliminate noise entering the coaxial cables from the outside and flowing through the unbalanced lines, the noise eliminating apparatus comprising:a pair of connecting terminals respectively connected to a pair of coaxial cables constituting said unbalanced lines; a pair of balance-to-unbalance transformers connected respectively to said pair of connecting terminals to transform said unbalanced lines on the respective sides of said connecting terminals into balanced lines; and a noise eliminating transformer provided on the balanced lines connecting said pair of balance-to-unbalance transformers for canceling noise components flowing through the lines constituting said balanced lines.
- 2. The noise eliminating apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising interrupting means for preventing direct-current signals and low-frequency signals from flowing between said pair of connecting terminals, whereby the coaxial cable as a system side transmission line of a high-frequency transmission system and the coaxial cable as a subscriber side transmission line are connected and only the high-frequency signals are allowed to pass therethrough.
- 3. The noise eliminating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein at least one of said pair o balance-to-unbalance transformers is an insulating transformer comprising a primary winding connected between the central conductor and the outer conductor of the coaxial cabin which is connected through said connecting terminal and a secondary winding connected between the lines constituting said balanced lines, one end of said primary winding connected to the outer conductor of said coaxial cable being connected to the middle point of said secondary winding.
- 4. The noise eliminating apparatus according to claim 1, wherein at least one of said pair of balance-to-unbalance transformers is a balun transformer.
- 5. A protector for use connected between a system side transmission line for transmitting high-frequency signals and a subscriber side transmission line to interrupt direct-current signals and low frequency signals and allow high-frequency signals to pass between said transmission lines, the protector comprising:an insulating transformer having a primary winding connected to the central conductor and the outer conductor of a coaxial cable constituting said system side transmission line and a secondary winding connected to the central conductor and the outer conductor of a coaxial cable constituting said subscriber side transmission line; a noise eliminating transformer having a pair of windings provided, respectively, on signal paths between both ends of one winding of said insulating transformer and the central conductor and the outer conductor of the coaxial cable connected to the both ends of said winding, said noise eliminating transformer eliminating noise components having the same phase and flowing through said signal paths; a condenser for interrupting direct-current signals and low-frequency signals connected between the outer conductor of said system side coaxial cable and the outer conductor of said subscriber side coaxial cable; and at least one of a fuse and a lightning protection element on the side of the primary winding of said insulating transformer connected to said system side coaxial cable, said fuse interrupting signal input from said system side coaxial cable by blowing out when the current flowing from the system side surpasses a predetermined current, and said lightning protection element discharging an overcurrent suddenly flowing in from the system side due to a lightning.
- 6. A protector for use connected between a system side transmission line for transmitting high-frequency signals and a subscriber side transmission line to interrupt direct-current signals and low frequency signals and allow high-frequency signals to pass between said transmission lines, said protector comprising:a noise eliminating apparatus for eliminating noise entering coaxial cables constituting said transmission lines from the outside, including: connecting terminals connected respectively to the coaxial cables constituting unbalanced lines; a pair of balance-to-unbalance transformers connected respectively to said connecting terminals to transform the unbalanced lines on the sides of respective connecting terminals into balanced lines; and a noise eliminating transformer provided on the balanced lines connecting said pair of balance-to-unbalance transformers for canceling noise components flowing through the lines constituting said balanced lines, said protector further comprising: at least one of a fuse and a lightning a protection element on the side of the connecting terminal to which a coaxial cable for the system side transmission line of said high-frequency transmission system is connected, said fuse interrupting signal input from said coaxial cable by blowing out when the current flowing from said coaxial cable surpasses a predetermined current, and said lightning protection element discharging an overcurrent suddenly flowing in from said coaxial cable due to a lightning.
