Claims
- 1. A non-reciprocal circuit element for transmitting a signal one way or cyclically transmitting the signal using a circuit having at least a ferrite, transmission lines, and a capacitor, comprising:at least two external input/output terminals for transferring a signal to and from an external unit and external grounding terminals for grounding, wherein at least one of the external grounding terminals is set between the two external input/output terminals disposed at one end of the circuit, additional grounding terminals of the external grounding terminals are all disposed at an opposing end of the circuit, the opposing end of the circuit is free of any input or output terminals, and the circuit is set to a grounding conductor, the capacitor is set to a surface of a grounding conductor, and the external grounding terminals are respectively configured of a part of the grounding conductor.
- 2. The non-reciprocal circuit element according to claim 1, wherein a grounding-side electrode of a resistor used for terminating a signal is connected to the grounding conductor.
- 3. The non-reciprocal circuit element according to claim 1, wherein a hole to which a bottom of the circuit is fitted is formed at a central portion of the grounding conductor.
- 4. The non-reciprocal circuit element according to claim 1, wherein the external input/output terminals, external grounding terminals, and grounding conductor are molded with resin and integrated.
- 5. A method of making a circuit for non-reciprocally transmitting a signal, comprising the steps of:a. forming the circuit having at least a ferrite, transmission lines and a capacitor; b. forming input and output terminals for transferring a signal to and from the transmission lines; c. forming a single grounding member; d. placing one end of the capacitor on a surface of the grounding member; and e. shaping portions of the grounding member into a plurality of ground terminals for external connection, wherein at least one of the shaped portions is disposed at one end of the circuit between the input and output terminals formed in step b, and the remaining shaped portions are disposed at an opposing end of the circuit, free of any input or output terminals.
- 6. The method of claim 5 in which step e includes shaping portions of the grounding member into the plurality of ground terminals, wherein the at least one shaped portion is disposed at one end of the grounding member and all remaining shaped portions are disposed at an opposing end of the grounding member.
- 7. The method of claim 6 including the steps of:f. covering a central portion of the grounding member with a metallic cover; and g. externally exposing the plurality of ground terminals disposed at both ends of the grounding member for external connection.
- 8. The method of claim 5 including the step of:placing one end of a resistor on the surface of the grounding member for terminating a signal.
- 9. The method of claim 5 including the step of:forming an opening in a central portion of the grounding member for inserting the ferrite into the opening.
- 10. The method of claim 5 including the step of:molding with resin the input and output terminals, the ground terminals and the grounding member.
- 11. The method of claim 5 in which step c includes forming the single grounding member free-of discontinuous portions.
- 12. A non-reciprocal circuit element comprising:a circuit having at least a ferrite, transmission lines and a capacitor; input and output terminals for transferring an external signal, respectively, to and from the transmission lines; a single grounding member having shaped end portions, the shaped end portions providing ground terminals for external connection; one end of the capacitor disposed directly on a surface of the grounding member; at least one of the shaped end portions disposed between the input and output terminals at one end of the circuit, and the remaining shaped portions are disposed at an opposing end of the circuit, free of any input or output terminals.
- 13. The non-reciprocal circuit element of claim 12 wherein the at least one shaped end portion is disposed at one end of the grounding member and all remaining shaped end portions are disposed at an opposing end of the grounding member.
- 14. A non-reciprocal circuit element comprising:a circuit having at least a ferrite, transmission lines and a discrete capacitor; input and output terminals for transferring an external signal, respectively, to and from the transmission lines; a single grounding member having shaped end portions, the shaped end portions providing ground terminals for external connection; one end of the discrete capacitor disposed directly on a surface of the grounding member; and at least one of the shaped end portions disposed between the input and output terminals.
