The present invention relates to a shopping bag made of a non-woven material.
The present invention relates to a shopping bag comprising a non-woven material. It is an object of the present invention for the bag to comprise at least one pocket on each edge of the bag. It is an object of the present invention for the bag to be approximately 12″×7″×17″. It is an object of the present invention for the pockets to be approximately 7″×2″×14″. It is an object of the present invention for the pockets to isolate items from the bulk contents of the bag. It is an object of the present invention for the pockets to hold items such as prescriptions, bottles, eggs, cell phone, etc.
It is an object of the present invention for the pockets to be expandable. It is an object of the present invention for the pockets to have pleats or gussets on each edge. It is an object of the present invention that the pocket be expandable by approximately 2″. It is an object of the present invention that large objects such as water bottles fit in the pockets.
It is an object of the present invention for each pocket to have a security flap. It is an object of the present invention for the security flap to close the top of the pocket securely. It is an object of the present invention for the security flap to comprise Velcro. It is an object of the present invention for the security flap to have a snap closure. It is an object of the present invention for the pocket to close so that nothing can fall out and no one can access the contents of the pocket without pulling the flap open first. It is an object of the present invention for the flap to be attached to the body of the bag on each edge. It is an object of the present invention for the flap to extend outward over the top of each pocket and then down approximately 1½″ so that the securing components can secure. In the case of Velcro, for the Velcro components to meet and interlock.
It is an object of the present invention for the bag to comprise extra long handles, which extend approximately 9″ above the top of the bag. It is an object of the present invention for the handles to be long enough to easily be placed over a person's shoulder in addition to being carried over the arm or down at a person's side.
It is an object of the present invention for the bag to be sewn and made out of heavy duty, non-woven material, or any comparable substrate. It is an object of the present invention for the bag to comprise a heavy duty plastic, or cardboard insert placed at the bottom of the bag. It is an object of the present invention for the insert to add extra strength to the bag and provide a non sagging appearance.
It is an object of the present invention for the bag to comprise a soft loop at the top for display purposes.
The present invention relates to a shopping bag comprising a non-woven material. The bag comprises two pockets on each edge of the bag. In a preferred embodiment, the bag is approximately 12″×7″×17″. In a preferred embodiment, the pockets are approximately 7″×2″×14″. The pockets isolate items from the bulk contents of the bag. In an embodiment, the pockets hold items such as prescriptions, bottles, eggs, cell phone, etc.
In an embodiment, the pockets are expandable. In an embodiment, the pockets have pleats or gussets on each edge. In a preferred embodiment, the pockets are expandable by approximately 2″. In an embodiment, large objects such as water bottles fit in the pockets.
In an embodiment, each pocket has a security flap. In an embodiment, the security flap closes the top of the pocket securely. In a preferred embodiment, the security flap comprises Velcro. In an embodiment, the security flap has a snap closure. In an embodiment, the flap is attached to the body of the bag on each edge. In an embodiment the flap extends outward over the top of each pocket and then down approximately 1½″ so that the components of the pocket are secure. In an embodiment, the bag comprises extra long handles, which extend approximately 9″ above the top of the bag. In an embodiment, the handles are long enough to easily be placed over a person's shoulder in addition to being carried over the arm or down at a person's side.
