Claims
- 1. A diagnostically active chromogenic substrate with a high specificity to thrombin and thrombin-like enzymes having the formula: ##STR3## and salts thereof, wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or hydroxy, R.sub.2 is a chromophoric group, and n is 1, 2 or 3.
- 2. The substrate of claim 1 wherein R.sub.2 is selected from the group of nitrophenyl, naphthyl, nitronaphthyl, methoxynaphthyl, quinolyl, or nitroquinolyl.
- 3. The substrate of claim 1 wherein R.sub.2 is nitrophenyl or naphthyl or methoxynaphthyl.
- 4. The substrate of claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen.
- 5. The substrate of claim 1 wherein R.sub.1 is hydroxy.
- 6. The substrate of claim 1 wherein n is 1.
- 7. The substrate of claim 1 wherein n is 2.
- 8. The substrate of claim 2 wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen.
- 9. The substrate of claim 2 wherein R.sub.1 is hydroxy.
- 10. The substrate of claim 2 wherein n is 1.
- 11. The substrate of claim 2 wherein n is 2.
