Claims
- 1. A topical composition, comprising one oily outer phase and two aqueous inner phases, one of said inner phases being a gel.
- 2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the oily outer phase comprises an oil in an amount of at least 2% and at most 50% by weight of the topical composition, preferably 5 to 20%.
- 3. A process for the manufacture of a composition according to claim 1, which comprises the step of mixing of a primary emulsion with an oily outer phase and an aqueous gel.
- 4. The process according to claim 3, which comprises mixing 5 to 80% by weight of the primary emulsion with an oily outer phase with 20 to 95% by weight of the aqueous gel, preferably 40 to 90% by weight of the aqueous gel.
- 5. The process according to claim 3, wherein the primary emulsion with an oily outer phase is introduced into the aqueous gel.
- 6. The process according to claim 3, wherein the aqueous gel is introduced into the primary emulsion with an oily outer phase.
- 7. The process according to claim 3, wherein the aqueous gel is obtained by gelling an aqueous phase with a polymer.
- 8. The process according to claim 7, wherein said polymer is present in an amount of between 0.02 and 10% by weight of the aqueous gel.
- 9. The process according to claim 3, wherein the aqueous gel has a viscosity greater than 2000 cPs, as measured on a Brookfield LV at 6 rpm, preferably greater than 20000 cPs.
- 10. The process according claim 3, wherein the primary emulsion with an oily outer phase comprises from 5 to 90% by weight of oil.
- 11. The process according to claim 3, wherein the primary emulsion with an oily outer phase comprises from 1 to 25% by weight of an emulsifier.
- 12. A cosmetic, pharmaceutical, veterinary or detergent preparation, which comprises a composition according to claim 1.
- 13. A cosmetic preparation according to claim 12, wherein one or more of the oily or aqueous phases contain one or more sunscreen filter substances.
- 14. A sunscreen emulsion according to claim 13, which comprises at least one emulsifier chosen from among the group consisting of alkylpolyglycosides, alkylpolyglycosides derived from fatty alcohols and the corresponding fatty alcohols, polyglycerol esters, polyglycol esters, polyol esters, alkoxylated polyglycerol esters, alkoxylated polyglycol esters, alkoxylated polyol esters and polyethyleneglycol/alkylglycol copolymers.
- 15. A sunscreen emulsion according to claim 14, which comprises a combination of, on the one hand, a polyglycol polyhydroxystearate, a polyol polyhydroxystearate or alkoxylated polyol polyhydroxystearate, a polyglycerol ester or a polyethyleneglycol/alkylglycol copolymer, and on the other hand, an alkylpolyglycoside or a composition containing both alkylpolyglycosides and fatty alcohols.
- 16. A sunscreen emulsion according to claim 13, wherein sunscreen filter substance or substances constitute 2% to 40% by weight of the emulsion, preferably 5 to 20%.
- 17. A sunscreen emulsion according to claim 13, wherein the amount of polymer lies within in the range of 0.02% and 10% by weight of the aqueous gel, preferably between 0.4 and 8%.
- 18. A sunscreen emulsion according to claim 13, which further comprises at least one mineral filler.
