Claims
- 1. A method for manufacturing a novelty beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture comprising:
producing a beaded frozen product using a flash-freezing cryogenic manufacturing process; introducing the beaded frozen product into an ice-cream product, while the ice-cream product is still in a flowable state; intermixing the beaded frozen product into the ice-cream product; and freezing the intermixed beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture.
- 2. The method of claim 1, further including filling a product container with the intermixed beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture.
- 3. The method of claim 1, further including filling a product container with the ice-cream product before introducing the beaded frozen product into the ice-cream product.
- 4. The method of claim 1, wherein the intermixing is performed within a product container.
- 5. The method of claim 1, wherein the introducing the beaded frozen product into an ice-cream product is more specifically performed by introducing the beaded frozen product through a conventional fruit or nut feeder.

- 17. A novelty frozen product having a first frozen product, and pre-frozen beads of a second frozen product interspersed throughout, wherein the pre-frozen beads of the second frozen product are manufactured using a flash-freezing cryogenic manufacturing process.
- 18. The novelty frozen product of claim 17, wherein the first frozen product includes one selected from the group consisting of ice cream, yogurt, flavored ice, and sherbet.

- 20. An apparatus for manufacturing a novelty beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture comprising:
a flash freezing cryogenic freezer configured to produce a beaded frozen product; a storage unit configured to hold a supply of beaded frozen product; a mixture reservoir configured to accept the beaded frozen product and an ice-cream product; and a mixture reservoir configured to accept the beaded frozen product and an ice-cream product; and a mixing component configured to intermix the beaded frozen product into the ice-cream product.
- 21. The apparatus of claim 20, further comprising a post-mixing freezer configured to freeze the beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture.
- 22. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the storage unit comprises a paddle component.
- 23. The apparatus of claim 20, further comprising an ice-cream product reservoir configured to accept large quantities of ice-cream product.
- 24. The apparatus of claim 20, further comprising an output nozzle configured to dispense the beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture.
- 25. The apparatus of claim 24, further comprising a delivery mechanism configured to direct the ice-cream product to the output nozzle.
- 26. The apparatus of claim 24, wherein the mixing component comprises an auger delivery mechanism configured to deliver the beaded frozen product and ice-cream mixture to the output nozzle.
- 27. The apparatus of claim 20, wherein the storage unit is configured to hold the supply of beaded frozen product at a temperature to maintain the beaded frozen product's free-flowing characteristics.
- 28. The apparatus of claim 20, further comprising a barrel freezer portion configured to introduce the beaded frozen product into the ice-cream product.
- 29. The apparatus of claim 20, further comprising a conventional fruit or nut feeder configured to introduce the beaded frozen product into the ice-cream product.
