This disclosure generally relates to nutritional mixtures and methods for making nutritional mixtures. More particularly, this disclosure relates to a healthy, balanced, and nutritionally complete composition, which includes calories, nutrients, vitamins, and minerals, all in proportions selected to meet minimum recommended dosages for a healthy living.
The approaches described in this section could be pursued, but are not necessarily approaches that have been previously conceived or pursued. Therefore, unless otherwise indicated herein, the approaches described in this section are not prior art to the claims in this application and are not admitted to be prior art by inclusion in this section.
Nutritionists suggest that general health starts with a proper diet and eating habits. Today, many diets are available to help people reach their particular goals for weight loss, gain weight, stay healthy, and even treat certain medical conditions. Typically, diets include multiple meal ingredients or foodstuff at certain proportions or weights that an individual shall mix or prepare for further intake on a daily basis. One of the problems with existing diets is that it may be difficult or annoying for the users to make meals satisfying a plurality of requirements of a particular diet including certain weights, dosages, and proportions. Another problem with existing diets is that they typically focused on addressing a particular health problem and often include some ingredients in elevated amounts and some other ingredients in decreased amounts. For this reason, many diets are not suitable to use for long periods of time.
Another problem with the existing diets is that they are not necessarily provide all relevant nutrients for an individual to intake on a daily basis to remain healthy. For example, most nutritionists suggest taking multivitamins in addition to adhering to a particular diet because foodstuff may lack essential vitamins, fats, minerals, fatty and amino acids. For example, American diets tend to be too low in Omega-3, so most nutritionists suggest that Americans will benefit from additional daily intake of Omega-3. Thus, it may be very difficult to the general public to make sure their meals include all relevant nutrients at recommended dosages on a daily basis.
Yet another problem with known diets is the difficulty of calculating a calorie value of consumed meals by an individual. For example, if a particular individual wants to keep tracking of daily caloric intake (e.g., if the individual wants to adhere to a 2000-calorie diet), it can be not only annoying, but nearly possible to determine a number of calories obtained to consumed with a particular calorie intake value. Accordingly, the adherence to calorie-based diets is not easy and typically inaccurate.
This section is provided to introduce a selection of concepts in a simplified form that are further described below in the Detailed Description section. This summary is not intended to identify key features or essential features of the claimed subject matter, nor is it intended to be used as an aid in determining the scope of the claimed subject matter.
