Abstract
Disclosed is an oil leak detecting method of a brake system and an oil leak detecting system thereof. The method includes: closing a first hydraulic circuit and monitoring an amount of a leak of brake oil in a second hydraulic circuit; closing the second hydraulic circuit and monitoring an amount of a leak of brake oil in the first hydraulic circuit; and determining where brake oil leaks from among the first hydraulic circuit and the second hydraulic circuit. The first hydraulic circuit controls a flow of hydraulic pressure transmitted to two wheel cylinders. The second hydraulic circuit controls a flow of hydraulic pressure transmitted to other two wheel cylinders.
