Claims
- 1. An improved process for oligomerization of olefins wherein the improvement comprises contacting said olefins with a catalyst composition comprising a perfluorinated ion-exchange polymer containing sulfonic acid groups supported on an inert carrier wherein said carrier comprises calcined shot coke and has a hydrophobic surface with a mean pore diameter of at least 1000 .ANG.; at a temperature of from about 135.degree. C. to about 185.degree. C.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the olefin is isobutylene.
