Claims
- 1. An olefin polymerization catalyst (2) formed from:(I-2) a contact product obtained by contacting in the absence of polymerizable olefin monomer: (A) a solid titanium catalyst component comprising magnesium, titanium, halogen and an organic ester as electron donor; (B) an organometallic compound catalyst component and (D) a compound having at least two ether linkages spaced by plural atoms; (II-2) (C) an organosilicon compound represented by the following formula (c-i) Ra2Si (ORb)2 (c-i) Ra is a secondary or tertiary hydrocarbon group, and both Ra may be the same or different, Rb is a hydrocarbon group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and both ORb may be the same or different; and, optionally, (III-2) an organometallic compound catalyst component.
- 2. The olefin polymerization catalyst as claimed in claim 1, wherein the organosilicon compound (C) is represented by the following formula (c-ii): whereinRa and Rc are each independently a cyclopentenyl group, a substituted cyclopentenyl group, a cyclopentenyl group, a substituted cyclopentenyl group, or a hydrocarbon group whose carbon adjacent to Si is secondary or tertiary carbon.
- 3. The olefin polymerization catalyst as claimed in claim 1, wherein the compound (D) having at least two ether linkages present through plural atoms is represented by the following formula: whereinn is an integer satisfying the condition 2≦n≦10, R1 to R26 are each a substituent having at least one atom selected from the group consisting of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, halogen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorous, boron and silicon, any optional combination of R1 to R26 may form together a ring other than a benzene ring, and the main chain of the compound may contain atoms other than carbon.
- 4. An olefin polymerization catalyst (2a) formed from:(I-2a) a prepolymerized catalyst component obtained by prepolymerizing an olefin of 2 or more carbon atoms in the presence of (A) a solid titanium catalyst component comprising magnesium, titanium, halogen and a polycarboxylic ester selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formulas wherein R1 is a hydrocarbon group which may have a substituent, R2, R3 , R4, R5 and R6 are hydrogen or hydrocarbon group which may be substituted, wherein any substituent group contains N, O or S atom, and R3 and R4 may be linked to each other to form a cyclic structure; (B) an organometallic compound catalyst component, and (D) a compound having at least two ether linkages spaced by plural atoms; (II-2a) (C) an organosilicon compound represented by the following formula (c-i) Ra2Si (ORb)2 (c-i) whereinRa is a secondary or tertiary hydrocarbon group, and both Ramay be the same or different, Rb is a hydrocarbon group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and both ORb may be the same or different; and, optionally (III-2a) an organometallic compound catalyst component.
- 5. The olefin polymerization catalyst as claimed in claim 4, wherein the organosilicon compound (C) is represented by the following formula whereinRa and Rc are each independently a cyclopentyl group, a substituted cyclopentyl group, a cyclopentenyl group, a substituted cyclopentenyl group, a cyclopentadienyl group, a substituted cyclopentadienyl group or a hydrocarbon group whose carbon adjacent to Si is secondary or tertiary carbon.
- 6. The olefin polymerization catalyst as claimed in claim 4, wherein the compound (D) having at least two ether linkages present through plural atoms is represented by the following formula: whereinn is an integer satisfying the condition 2≦n≦10, R1 to R26 are each a substituent having at least one atom selected from the group consisting of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, halogen, nitrogen, sulfur, phosphorus, boron and silicon, any optional combination of R1 to R26 may form together a ring other than a benzene ring, and the main chain of the compound may contain atoms other than carbon.
