Claims
- 1. A composition comprising a PE-100 copolymer of ethylene and 1-hexene having an average molecular weight greater than at least about 300,000 g/mol and a substantially constant branch distribution profile at molecular weights greater than about 1×104.
- 2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the average molecular weight is greater than at least about 350,000 g/mol.
- 3. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the average molecular weight is greater than at least about 400,000 g/mol.
- 4. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the average molecular weight is greater than at least about 450,000 g/mol.
- 5. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the branch distribution profile is substantially constant between molecular weights of about 1×104 to about 1×107.
- 6. A PE-100 pipe comprising the composition according to claim 1.
- 7. A method of making a PE-100 pipe comprising extruding the composition according to claim 1 in a molten state through a die to form the PE-100 pipe and cooling the pipe.
- 8. A composition comprising a PE-100 copolymer of ethylene and 1-hexene having an Eta(0) greater than about 1×106 pa-sec and a substantially constant branch distribution profile at molecular weights greater than about 1×104.
- 9. The composition according to claim 8, wherein the Eta(0) greater than about 5×106 pa-sec.
- 10. The composition according to claim 8, wherein the Eta(0) greater than about 1×107 pa-sec.
- 11. The composition according to claim 8, wherein the Eta(0) greater than about 2×107 pa-sec.
- 12. The composition according to claim 8, wherein the branch distribution profile is substantially constant between molecular weights of about 1×104 to about 1×107.
- 13. A PE-100 pipe comprising the composition according to claim 8.
- 14. A method of making a PE-100 pipe comprising extruding the composition according to claim 8 in a molten state through a die to form the PE-100 pipe and cooling the pipe.
- 15. A composition comprising a PE-100 copolymer of ethylene and 1-hexene having an Eta(0) less than about 5×107 pa-sec and a substantially constant branch distribution profile at molecular weights greater than about 1×104.
- 16. The composition according to claim 15, wherein the Eta(0) greater than about 2.5×107 pa-sec.
- 17. The composition according to claim 15, wherein the Eta(0) greater than about 1.5×107 pa-sec.
- 18. The composition according to claim 15, wherein the Eta(0) greater than about 1×107 pa-sec.
- 19. The composition according to claim 15, wherein the branch distribution profile is substantially constant between molecular weights of about 1×104 to about 1×107.
- 20. A PE-100 pipe comprising the composition according to claim 15.
- 21. A method of making a PE-100 pipe comprising extruding the composition according to claim 15 in a molten state through a die to form the PE-100 pipe and cooling the pipe.
