Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to wind supply devices, and particularly to an electric fan with an omnidirectional fan body.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Currently, electric fans are mostly used to supply wind for temperature reduction purpose. In many large sites such as factories or shopping malls, strong-power type barrel-shaped electric fans or desk-floor type electric fans needs to be used for wind supply to accelerate air flow and lower ambient temperature. However, a fan body 1 of some barrel-shaped electric fans or desk-floor type electrical fans currently available in the art can only be adjusted up and down in a perpendicular direction about an upper end position of a support frame 2 and cannot swing left and right in a horizontal direction, as shown in FIG. 1. In this way, a angular adjustment scope of wind direction of the electric fan is limited so that the scope of wind supply of the electric fan is necessarily affected and the effects in use are not fully to people's satisfaction.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An object of the present invention is to overcome the above drawbacks in the prior art and provide an omnidirectional electric fan, which not only enables a fan body to swing up and down in a perpendicular direction but also swing to left and right in a horizontal direction, thereby turning at a large angle, providing a broader wind supply scope and facilitating use.

To achieve the above object, the present invention is accomplished by taking the following technical solution:

An omnidirectional electric fan, comprising a support frame, wherein a support ring is movably connected to the support frame, and a fan body is movably connected in the support ring so as to turn to left and right in the support ring.

As a further improvement to the above technology, upper end portions of left and right sides of the support frame are both correspondingly connected to left and right sides of the support ring via a perpendicularly rotatable means.

In the present invention, the upper end portions of the left and right sides of the support frame are both provided with a mounting hole, the perpendicularly rotatable means comprises a turnable handwheel and a connecting bolt threadedly connected to the turnable handwheel and passing through the mounting hole, and the other end of the connecting bolt is connected to one side of the support ring, and besides an elastic sleeve is provided around an outer circumference of the connecting bolt.

In order to allow the fan body of the electric fan to swing left and right in the horizontal direction, horizontally turnable means enabling the fan body to swing left and right is connected between a top portion of the support ring and a top portion of the fan body. The top portion of the support ring is provided with a mounting hole, the horizontally turnable means comprises a turnable handwheel and a connecting bolt threadedly connected to the turnable handwheel and passing through the mounting hole, the other end of the connecting bolt is connected to the top portion of the fan body correspondingly, and an elastic sleeve is provided around an outer circumference of the connecting bolt.

In addition, a through hole is provided on the bottom of the support ring, a connecting bolt, after passing through the through hole, movably connect the bottom of the fan body to the bottom of the support ring, and an elastic sleeve is provided around an outer circumference of the connecting bolt at a position of the connecting bolt between the bottom of the fan body and the bottom of the support ring.

In the present invention, all the elastic sleeves are made of plastic or elastic rubber.

In the present invention, the support ring is circular or in other shapes such as ring depending on the shape of the fan body.

As compared with the prior art, the present invention has the following advantageous effects:

(1) On the basis of common powerful fans such as barrel-shaped electric fans and desk-floor type electric fans, the electrical fan according to the present invention is additionally provided with horizontally turnable means enabling the fan to swing left and right so that the fan body of the electric fan can not only swing up and down in a perpendicular direction but also swing freely in a horizontal direction, whereby the fan body can turn freely, the scope of wind supply angle can be regulated as desired to provide a broader wind supply scope and the fan exhibits a stronger applicability.

(2) The electric fan according to the present invention can not only be placed on a floor, but also hung on a wall or a ceiling as the user needs to facilitate use.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

The omnidirectional electric fan according to the present invention is described in detail as follows by taking a barrel-shaped electric fan and a desk-floor type electric fan as examples.

As shown in FIGS. 2-4 and FIGS. 7-10, the omnidirectional electric fan according to the present invention comprises a support frame 2, wherein a support ring 3 is movably connected to the support frame 2, and a fan body 1 is movably connected in the support ring 3 so as to turn to left and right in the support ring 3.

In the present invention, upper end portions of left and right sides of the support frame 2 are both correspondingly connected to the left and right sides of the support ring 3 via a perpendicularly rotatable means 4. Specifically, the upper end portions of the left and right sides of the support frame 2 are both provided with a mounting hole (not shown), the perpendicularly rotatable means 4 comprises a turnable handwheel 41 and a connecting bolt 42 connected to the turnable handwheel 41 and passing through the mounting hole, the other end of the connecting bolt 42 is correspondingly connected to one side of the support ring 3, and an elastic sleeve 43 is provided around an outer circumference of the connecting bolt 42.

In order to allow the fan body 1 to turn and swing left and right in a horizontal direction in the support ring 3, horizontally turnable means 5 enabling the fan body 1 to swing left and right is connected between a top portion of the support ring 3 and a top portion of the fan body 1. Specifically, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 10, the top portion of the support ring 3 is also provided with a mounting hole (not shown), the horizontally turnable means 5 comprises a turnable handwheel 51 and a connecting bolt 52 threadedly connected to the turnable handwheel 51 and passing through the mounting hole, the other end of the connecting bolt 52 is connected to the top portion of the fan body 1 correspondingly, and besides, an elastic sleeve 53 is provided around an outer circumference of the connecting bolt 52.

In addition, in order to allow the fan body 1 to turn left and right stably in the support ring 3, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 11, an articulating hole (not shown) is provided on the bottom of the support ring 3, a connecting bolt 6, after passing through the articulating hole, movably connect the bottom of the fan body 1 to the bottom of the support ring 3, and an elastic sleeve 7 is provided around an outer circumference of the connecting bolt 6 at a position of the connecting bolt between the bottom of the fan body 1 and the bottom of the support ring 3, thereby effectively ensuring the fan body 1 stably swingable in the support ring 3.

The elastic sleeve 43, the elastic sleeve 53 and the elastic sleeve 7 are all made of plastic or elastic rubber.

In the present invention, a circular fan body is taken as an example for illustration purpose, so the support ring 3 is also circular for the sake of pleasant appearance of the whole. Certainly, the fan body 1 can be square-shaped, and the support ring 3 is also square-shaped correspondingly.

The working principle of the electric fan according to the present invention is as follows:

In use, a user can regulate the wind blowing direction of the electric fan as desired in a way of regulating the fan body to swing upward and downward via the perpendicularly turnable means 4 and regulating the fan body to swing in a horizontal direction via the horizontally turnable means 5 so that the wind blowing direction of the fan body can be regulated arbitrarily such that the fan body is omnidirectional 360 degrees, thereby providing a broader wind supply scope and exhibiting an substantially increased applicability.

Additionally, the electric fan according to the present invention can be design to hang on a wall as practically needed to facilitate use thereof.

The present invention is not limited to the above embodiments. If various modifications or variations to the electric fan of the present invention do not depart from the spirits and scope of the present invention and fall within the scope of the claims and equivalent technologies of the present invention, the present invention also contain these modifications and variations.
