The present invention relates to a one-piece garment for wearing over the body, including a dry suit and a wet suit used in surfing and diving and also a protective suit for evacuation from disasters or protection from radioactivity.
In a one-piece garment such as a wet suit and a dry suit, it is essential to install a zipper at a back part of the garment and/or at a front part thereof so that a wearer can put on and take off the garment.
However, in most cases, zippers based on a conventional technique are not installed in a horizontal direction but installed in a diagonal direction or in a spiral manner, giving a complicated arrangement. In reality, typical examples having the above-described arrangement are disclosed in Patent Documents 1, 2 and 3.
Installation of the above-described zippers with a complicated arrangement increases the manufacturing cost. Further, opening/closing operation of the zippers is relatively complicated and consequently not easily opened or closed.

On the other hand, in Patent Document 4, at the back part of the body, a zipper is installed at a position equal to a height in the vicinities of the armpits on both sides. However, at the front part of the body, the zipper end parts extend from a flank part on the right side up to the vicinity of a left shoulder. Thus, the zipper is not designed so as to extend from flank parts on both sides.
As a result, opening/closing operation of the zipper is performed in a range from the position in the vicinity of the left shoulder of the front part up to the position of the left-side end of the back part. Therefore, the positions on which a wearer starts and finishes opening and closing of the zipper are at the front of the body, thereby it is not possible to realize easy opening/closing operation of the zipper by use of both hands.
It may be safe to say that in the above-described conventional techniques, originality and ingenuity have been so far hardly found in the field of one-piece garments, with attention given to installation of a zipper which is simple in arrangement and can be handled easily.
An object of the present invention is to provide a one-piece garment which is simple in arrangement and easily handled in opening/closing operation and also which is arranged so as not to cause any problems in mobility of the body.
In order to attain the above object, the present invention is basically arranged so as to give a one-piece garment which extends from a neck seal part at an upper part up to leg accommodating parts at a lower part, and the one-piece garment in which a zipper for putting on or taking off the garment is installed on a back part of the body in a horizontal direction at a region equal to a height of ½ of the upper part in a vertical-direction region from armpits to the waist part and the zipper is also installed in a state of extending from flank parts on both sides of the body toward a center position of the front part of the body in the horizontal direction.

As a result, in the present invention, the zipper 2 is installed in an extremely simple manner. The garment of the present invention is extremely low in manufacturing cost and can also be worn in such a manner that opening/closing operation of the zipper 2 can be started and finished at the front part of the body by use of both hands. Therefore, the garment is quite easily handled as compared with the garment disclosed in Patent Document 4.
That is, it is possible to avoid the inconvenience resulting from complicated manufacturing and complicated operation when the zipper is opened or closed, which are found on the installation state of the complicated zipper 2 disclosed in Patent Documents 1, 2 and 3.

As a matter of course, as described previously, all the above-described embodiments are common in that they are able to realize actions and effects resulting from low manufacturing cost and convenience in use.
The back part of the garment is connected to the front part thereof at the flank parts on both sides of the body. And, in most cases, as with the case of the back part, the front part is designed to be installed in a horizontal direction, which is based on low manufacturing cost and convenience in use.

In the previously described individual embodiments, where the width of the garment in a vertical direction is fundamentally in agreement with a distance from lower ends of the leg parts up to the shoulder parts and the neck part of the body, when wearing the garment, a wearer is required to bend forward the upper half of the body in order that her head is allowed to protrude through an insertion hole of the neck part at an upper end of the garment.
Example 1 is a one-piece garment 1 in which the width thereof in the vertical direction is in agreement with a distance from lower ends of the leg parts up to the shoulder parts and the neck part of the body, and the garment 1 is made of a stretchable material.
It is noted that a typical example of the stretchable material includes neoprene sponge.
As described above, where the garment 1 is stretchable, a wearer can protrude her head through the insertion hole of the neck part, without bending forward her head when wearing the garment 1.
Where a part of the garment 1 corresponding to the upper half of the body is designed so as to be longer than an actual length of the body, when wearing the garment 1 which is not made of a stretchable material, a wearer can protrude her head through the insertion hole of the neck part, without bending forward the upper half of the body.
However, where the part thereof corresponding to the upper half of the body is designed to be longer than the length of the body, it will always entail a so-called downward sag in which the part corresponding to the upper half of the body slips downward in association with sag due to an excess size.

When a wearer dives in water, wearing the garment 1 according to Example 2, due to the fact that a region which covers the upper half of the body is designed to be longer than the body, there is found such a state that air is filled inside the garment 1 in a greater quantity than a case that the region covers the upper half of the body normally.
Due to the above-described state, there may be found a so-called riding up in which the region which covers the upper half of the body moves upward in association with shifting of the upper part.
In particular, where no hem skirt 4 is provided, riding up is more likely to take place.

The one-piece garment having the above-described basic arrangement is simply arranged in such a manner that the zipper is installed at the back part in a horizontal direction and also installed by extending from the flank parts on both sides to the front side part. Therefore, the garment can be manufactured at lower cost and also secured for such convenience in use in opening/closing operation of the zipper, a wearer is able to start and finish opening and closing of the zipper by oneself, using both hands at the front side part of the body.
Further, since the zipper does not reach a region which covers the shoulders, a wearer is able to move the shoulders relatively freely.
The present invention can be used as a dry suit, a wet suit, a protective garment, etc., finding a variety of applications and obtaining great value through the use thereof.
