1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a cigar tube, and more particularly to one-way telescopic cigar tube with cutting function.
2. Description of the Prior Art
The existing cigar tubes mostly are only used to carry cigar, however, both ends of the cigar must be cut before it can be smoked. Therefore, a user has to take both a cigar tube and a cigar cutter with him when going outside, this is inconvenient.
The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
The primary object of the present invention is to provide a one-way telescopic cigar tube with cutting function, wherein a cigar cutter is removably assembled in the cigar tube, so that the cigar tube is not only capable of carrying cigar but also capable of cutting cigar. Further, the length of the cigar tube is adjustable to fit cigars of different lengths.
To achieve the above object, a one-way telescopic cigar tube with cutting function in accordance with the present invention comprises: an inner tube, a middle connecting member, an upper cover, an end ring, a restriction ring, an elastic ring, an outer tube, a lower cover and a cutter.
The inner tube has two open ends. The middle connecting member is an annular structure formed in an outer surface thereof with a groove which is located at one end of the middle connecting member, the middle connecting member is connected to one end of the inner tube in such a manner that the one end of the middle connecting member where the groove is located is abutted against an outer periphery of the inner tube. The upper cover is connected to another end of the middle connecting member. The end ring is received in the groove of the middle connecting member and abutted against an outer surface periphery of the inner tube. The restriction ring is formed with an annular groove in its outer surface and connected to another end of the inner tube, the restriction ring has an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of the end ring to restrict the end ring. The elastic ring is C-shaped and received in the annular groove of the restriction ring. The outer tube is sleeved on the inner tube and has one end connected to the end ring, the restriction ring and the elastic ring are received in the outer tube, so that the elastic ring is prevented from falling off. The lower cover is a hollow structure and formed with a sealing bottom at an end surface thereof, and a pillar stands from the sealing bottom, the lower cover is connected to another end of the outer tube. The cutter comprises a housing and a knife, the housing is formed at a center thereof with a mounting portion, the knife is a hollow conical structure and assembled to the mounting portion of the housing, and the housing is assembled to the lower cover in such a manner that the pillar of the lower cover is inserted in the knife of the cutter.

The inner tube 10 is provided at both end thereof with a first outer thread 11 and a second outer thread 12, and both ends of the inner tube 10 are open.
The middle connecting member 20 is an annular structure which is formed on its inner surface with a first inner thread 21 and a second inner thread 23 beside the first inner thread 21, and is further formed with a groove 22 in an outer surface thereof. The first inner thread 21 and the groove 22 are formed at both ends of the middle connecting member 20. The middle connecting member 20 is connected to one end of the inner tube 10 in such a manner that the second inner thread 23 of the middle connecting member 20 is engaged with the first outer thread 11 of the inner tube 10, while the end of the middle connecting member 20 where the groove 22 is located is abutted against an outer periphery of the inner tube 10.
The upper cover 30 is formed with an outer thread 31 to be engaged with the first inner thread 21 of the middle connecting member 20. The end ring 40 is formed with an outer thread 41 and received in the groove 22 of the middle connecting member 20 to abut against the outer surface periphery of the inner tube 10.
The restriction ring 50 is formed on its inner surface with an inner thread 51 for engaging with the second outer thread 12 of the inner tube 10, and an annular groove 52 in its outer surface. The restriction ring 50 has an outer diameter larger than the inner diameter of the end ring 40 to prevent the disengagement of the end ring 40. In the annular groove 52 is further formed a plurality of concaves 521.
The elastic ring 60 is C-shaped and received in the annular groove 52 of the restriction ring 50. On an outer surface of the elastic ring 60 is formed a plurality of protrusions 61 to be engaged in the concaves 521 of the restriction ring 50.
The outer tube 70 is sleeved on the inner tube 10 and formed at both ends thereof with a first inner thread 71 and a second inner thread 72. The first inner thread 71 of the outer tube 70 is to be engaged with the outer thread 41 of the end ring 40 mounted on the inner tube 10. The restriction ring 50 and the elastic ring 60 are received in the outer tube 70, so that the elastic ring 60 is prevented from falling off. In assembly, the elastic ring 60 is compressed first to make the protrusions 61 engage in the concaves 521 of the restriction ring 50, facilitating the installation of the outer tube 70. After the outer tube 70 is sleeved on the restriction ring 50, the elastic ring 60 will be decompressed and press outward against the outer tube 70.
The lower cover 80 is a hollow structure formed at both ends thereof with a first outer thread 81 and a second outer thread 82. An end surface of the lower cover 80 adjacent to the first outer thread 81 is a sealing bottom 83, and a pillar 831 stands from the sealing bottom 83 toward the end of the lower cover 80 where the second outer thread 82 is located. The first outer thread 81 of the lower cover 80 is engaged with the second inner thread 72 of the outer tube 70.
The cutter 90 comprises a housing 91 and a knife 92. The housing 91 is formed with an inner thread 911 to be engaged with the second outer thread 82 of the lower cover 80 and is formed at a center thereof with a mounting portion 912 in which is formed an inner thread 913. The knife 92 is hollow conical structure having an outer thread 921 formed at one end thereof for engaging with the inner thread 913 of the mounting portion 912 of the housing 91. The pillar 831 of the lower cover 80 is inserted in the knife 92 of the cutter 90.

To use the cutter 90, the user can unscrew the cutter 90 from the lower cover 80, and then cut the end of a cigar with the knife 92 of the cutter 90. The cut-away end of the cigar might get stuck in the knife 92 after cutting, no problem, when the cutter 90 is screwed back on the lower cover 80, the pillar 831 standing on the sealing bottom 83 of the lower cover 80 will insert into the hollow knife 92 to push out the cut-away end, and thus the knife 92 is cleaned.
