Claims
- 1. An opening/closing device for a door member, the door member being mounted on a main body for opening and closing, the device comprising:
- a pair of hinge pin members projecting generally vertically from right and left end portions of one of the door member and the main body, the door member being supported for opening and closing by one of right and left hinge pin members as a center;
- a load receiving member disposed on one of the door and the main body which the pair of hinge pin members fails to be disposed on such that the load receiving member is disposed on the door member when the pair of hinge pin members is disposed on the main body and vice versa, the load receiving member supporting the door member through contact with tip ends of the hinge pin members when the door is closed; and
- an engagement pair mounted on the door member and the main body, the engagement pair raising the door member immediately before the door member is fully closed such that the hinge pin members are moved relative to the load receiving member to a noninterfering position.
- 2. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 1, wherein the hinge pin members and the load receiving member are out of direct contact when in the noninterfering position.
- 3. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 1, wherein the engagement pair comprises a roller portion and a support member, the roller portion and the support member being mounted opposite one another such that the roller portion is on one of the door member and the main body while the support member is on the other of the door member and the main body.
- 4. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 3, wherein the support member comprises a column member having first and second slant faces and a high base face, the first slant face being inclined oppositely to the second slant face and the high base face being positioned between the first and second slant faces.
- 5. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 4, wherein the roller portion comprises a roller and a roller holder, the roller being positioned to ride up the first slant face, over the high base face and down the second slant face when the door is closed, the roller being located on the high base face immediately before the door member is fully closed to cause the hinge pin members and the load receiving member to disengage.
- 6. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 5, wherein the roller portion further comprises a mounting angle affixing the roller holder to the door member, the roller being rotatably held by the roller holder and the support member being affixed to the body member.
- 7. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 6, further comprising adjustment means for adjusting evacuation degree of the door member to ensure disengagement of the hinge pin members and the load receiving member immediately before the door member is fully closed.
- 8. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 7, wherein the adjustment means comprises two screws, one screw adjusting the evacuation degree and the other screw securing an adjusted position.
- 9. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 1, further comprising adjustment means for adjusting evacuation degree of the door member to ensure disengagement of the hinge pin members and the load receiving member immediately before the door member is fully closed.
- 10. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 9, wherein the adjustment means comprises two screws, one screw adjusting the evacuation degree and the other screw securing an adjusted position.
- 11. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 1, wherein the engagement pair comprises a pedestal supporting a roller and a support member, the support member having an engagement groove in which the roller is positioned when the door member is fully closed, the roller moving from the engagement groove before the door member is fully closed to thereby engage a face of the support member and cause the hinge pin members and the load receiving member to disengage.
- 12. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 11, wherein the pedestal is mounted on the main body and the support member is pivotally mounted to the door member, the face of the support member engaged by the roller being a bottom face and the door member being raised by the roller engaging the bottom face of the support member when the hinge pin members and the load receiving member are disengaged and the door member being lowered when the roller is positioned in the engagement groove such that the hinge pin members and the load receiving member are engaged.
- 13. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 12, wherein the tip end portion of the support member is chamfered.
- 14. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 12, further comprising adjustment means for adjusting the positioning of the support member relative to the door member such that height position of the support member can be adjusted.
- 15. The opening/closing device for a door member as defined in claim 14, wherein the adjustment means comprises two screws mounted in the support member.
