Claims
- 1. An optical transmission apparatus for adjusting optical power of a plurality of input light signals at different wavelengths to provide at least one light signal of the adjusted optical power, comprising:a plurality of optical power adjusters, each of which adjusts optical power of light; a light combiner which combines a plurality of light signals of which the optical power is adjusted by said plurality of optical power adjusters and provides the combined light signal; and a controller which controls said plurality of power adjusters such that the optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than at least a specified one input light signal is greater than that of the at least specified one.
- 2. An optical transmission apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than the at least a specified one input light signal is at a constant value.
- 3. An optical transmission apparatus for adjusting optical power of a plurality of input light signals at different wavelengths to provide at least one light signal of the adjusted optical power, comprising:a plurality of optical power adjusters, each of which adjusts optical power of light; a light combiner which combines a plurality of light signals of which the optical power is adjusted by said plurality of optical power adjusters and provides the combined light signal; and a controller which controls said plurality of power adjusters such that the optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than at least a specified one input light signal is smaller than that of the at least specified one.
- 4. An optical transmission apparatus according to claim 3, wherein said optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than the at least a specified one input light signal is at a constant value.
- 5. An optical transmission repeater stage for adjusting optical power of a plurality of input light signals at different wavelengths at the repeater stage to provide at least one light signal of the adjusted optical power, comprising:a plurality of optical power adjusters, each of which adjusts optical power of light; a light combiner which combines a plurality of light signals of which the optical power is adjusted by said plurality of optical power adjusters and provides the combined light signal; and a controller which controls said plurality of power adjusters such that the optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than at least a specified one input light signal is greater than that of the at least specified one.
- 6. An optical transmission repeater stage according to claim 5, wherein said optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than the at least a specified one input light signal is at a constant value.
- 7. An optical transmission repeater stage for adjusting optical power of a plurality of input light signals at different wavelengths at the repeater stage to provide at least one light signal of the adjusted optical power, comprising:a plurality of optical power adjusters, each of which adjusts optical power of light; a light combiner which combines a plurality of light signals of which the optical power is adjusted by said plurality of optical power adjusters and provides the combined light signal; and a controller which controls said plurality of power adjusters such that the optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than at least a specified one input light signal is smaller than that of the at least specified one.
- 8. An optical transmission repeater stage according to claim 7, wherein said optical power of each of said plurality of input light signals other than the at least a specified one input light signal is adjusted to a predetermined constant value.
