Claims
- 1. An optical apparatus comprising:
- (a) a plurality of optical systems for forming a plurality of optical images;
- (b) a plurality of image stabilizing means for respectively stabilizing said images;
- (c) drive means for driving said plurality of image stabilizing means;
- (d) compensation means for compensating a characteristic difference between said plurality of image stabilizing means; and
- (e) a plurality of zooming means for respectively varying zooming conditions of said plurality of optical images based on a common control signal.
- 2. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of optical systems comprises image display members.
- 3. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of optical systems comprises liquid crystal display members.
- 4. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of image stabilizing means includes a plurality of optical stabilizing members for respectively stabilizing said plurality of images.
- 5. An apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said plurality of optical stabilizing members comprises a variable angle prism.
- 6. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising motion detecting means for detecting a motion of said apparatus.
- 7. An apparatus according to claim 6, wherein said drive means drives said plurality of image stabilizing means according to an output of said motion detecting means.
- 8. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said compensation means include a memory for compensating the characteristic difference between said plurality of image stabilizing means.
- 9. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of optical systems, said plurality of zooming means, said plurality of image stabilizing means, said drive means and said compensation means are integrally provided in an apparatus body.
- 10. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said optical apparatus is a binocular.
- 11. An apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising a plurality of viewing members.
- 12. An apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of zooming means are driven by a motor.
- 13. An optical apparatus comprising:
- (a) a plurality of optical systems for forming a plurality of optical images;
- (b) a plurality of image stabilizing means for respectively stabilizing said images;
- (c) detection means for detecting a shake of said optical apparatus and for forming a common detection signal;
- (d) drive means for driving said plurality of image stabilizing means in response to said common detection signal;
- (e) a mode switch for switching between a first mode for activating said drive means and a second mode for deactivating said drive means; and
- (f) a plurality of zooming means for respectively varying zooming conditions of said plurality of optical images based on a common control signal.
- 14. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said plurality of optical system comprises image display members.
- 15. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said plurality of optical systems comprises liquid crystal display members.
- 16. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said plurality of image stabilizing means includes a plurality of optical stabilizing members for respectively stabilizing said plurality of images.
- 17. An apparatus according to claim 16, wherein said plurality of optical stabilizing members comprises a variable angle prism.
- 18. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said detection means detects a motion of said apparatus.
- 19. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising compensation means for compensating a characteristic difference between said plurality of image stabilizing means.
- 20. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said compensation means includes a memory for compensating the characteristic difference between said plurality of image stabilizing means.
- 21. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said plurality of optical systems, said mode switch, said plurality of image stabilizing means, said drive means and said detection means are integrally provided in an apparatus body.
- 22. An apparatus according to claim 19, wherein said optical apparatus is a binocular.
- 23. An apparatus according to claim 13, further comprising a plurality of viewing members.
- 24. An apparatus according to claim 13, wherein said mode switch is manually operable.
