Claims
- 1. Optical element, comprising:a base body having a surface, an optically effective first layer system of which at least one layer system surface is on the base body, a second optically effective layer system embedded in the base body that terminates in an intersection area with a broad surface of the second optically effective layer system extending along said surface of the base body, at least the second optically effective system comprising a sequence of optically high and low refraction layers, the high refraction layer consisting predominantly of at least one of the materials: TiO2, Ta2O5, Nb2O5, HfO2, ZrO2, SiOxNy, and the low refraction layer consisting predominantly of at least one of the materials: SiO2, Al2O3, SiOxNy, a packing density of the layers of the second optically effective layer system being at least 0.95 and the second layer system being recessed in the intersection area at most by 5 μm.
- 2. Element according to claim 1 in which the first layer system is recessed in the intersecting area in the direction of the second layer system where the recess depth is not greater than 2 μm.
- 3. Element according to one of the claims 1 where between 20° C. and 100° C. the layer systems have a shift in their spectral characteristics of maximum 5 nm.
- 4. Element according to claim 1 where the base body consists of at least two parts cemented together along one of the layer systems and the thickness of the cement film is maximum 10 μm.
- 5. Element according to claim 1 where a second surface of first layer system also coincides with the base body and consequently is embedded in at least one area within the base body.
- 6. Element according to claim 5 where a third layer system intersects at an angle with the second surface of the first layer system, where:said broad surface of the second and the third layer system terminate with an offset of at least 2 μm and essentially the same angles to the base body surface in the intersection area, at angles that do not deviate by more than 20 angular seconds.
- 7. Element according to claim 6 in which the first layer system is planar, the broad surface of the second and third are mutually opposed, with an offset of maximum 2 μm, and where the first, second and third layer system are on diagonal surfaces of a cuboid base body.
- 8. Element according to claim 7 that is an X-cube and where the first layer system selectively reflects most of the light in the visible RED range but transmits at least most of the light in the visible BLUE and GREEN range and where the second (5′) and third layer system reflects at least most of the light in the visible BLUE range and conversely transmits at least most of the light in the GREEN and RED range respectively.
- 9. Element according to claim 1 where at least two of the bodies separated by the layer systems consist of material with identical optical properties.
- 10. Element according to claim 1 in which the base body parts between which one of the layer systems is accommodated, is made of glass or plastic.
- 11. Element according to claim 1 in which at least one of the layer systems has at least one dielectric layer and a polarization layer system or a color splitting system or an anti-reflection layer system, and a red or blue reflection system of S-polarized light with an incidence angle of 45°.
