Claims
- 1. Optical fluorophosphate glass based on Ba(PO.sub.3).sub.2, Al(PO.sub.3).sub.3, alkaline earth metal fluorides and AlF.sub.3, said glass having a refractive index n.sub.e of between 1.47 and 1.50, an Abbe-value .nu..sub.e of between 85 and 80 and a positive anomalous partial dispersion value +.DELTA..nu..sub.e of between 17 and 22, and
- (a) consisting essentially of the following atomic composition (in wt.-%):
- ______________________________________ Mg 0.5-3.0 Ca 8-10 Sr 12-20 Ba 9-12 Al 7-9 Ti 0-1 Na 0-1 K 0-3 P 5-9 O 8-12 F 35-38 H 0-0.5 and______________________________________
- (b) having the following physical characteristics: Linear thermal expansion coefficient .alpha..sub.20/300 .degree.C.[10.sup.-6 .multidot.1/.degree.C.]: 14.6-14.7;
- ______________________________________Glass transition temp. T.sub.g 472-480.degree. C.;Density .zeta. 3.51-3.61 g/cm.sup.3 ;Knoop-hardness HK 385-390.______________________________________
- 2. Glass according to claim 1, having an index of refraction n.sub.e between 1.48 and 1.49, an Abbe-value .nu..sub.e between 84.1 and 81.4 and a positive anomalous partial dispersion value +.DELTA..nu..sub.e between 18.2 and 21.0, and consisting essentially of the following atomic composition (in wt.-%):
- ______________________________________ Mg 1.0-2.2 Ca 9.1 -9.8 Sr 13.1-19.0 Ba 10.0-10.8 Al 8.2-8.5 Ti 0-0.2 Na 0-0.4 K 0-1.9 P 6.1-7.1 O 9.4-11.0 F 36.0-36.2 H 0-0.1.______________________________________
- 3. Glass according to claim 1, having an index of refraction n.sub.e of 1.48, an Abbe-value .nu..sub.e of 84.1 and a positive anomalous partial dispersion value +.DELTA..nu..sub.e of 21, and
- (a) consisting essentially of the following atomic composition (in wt.-%):
- ______________________________________ Mg 1.1 Ca 9.8 Sr 19.0 Ba 10.0 Al 8.5 P 6.1 O 9.4 F 36.1 and______________________________________
- (b) having the following physical characteristics: Linear thermal expansion coefficient .alpha..sub.20/300 .degree.C.[10.sup.-6 .multidot.1/.degree.C.]: 14.7;
- ______________________________________Glass transition temp. T.sub.g 480.degree. C.;Density .zeta. 3.61 g/cm.sup.3 ;Knoop-hardness HK 385.______________________________________
- 4. Glass according to claim 1, having a refractive index n.sub.e of 1.487, an Abbe-value .nu..sub.e of 81.4 and a positive anomalous partial dispersion value +.DELTA..nu..sub.e of 18.2, and
- (a) consisting essentially of the following atomic composition (in wt.-%):
- ______________________________________ Mg 2.18 Ca 9.19 Sr 13.18 Ba 10.78 Al 8.22 Ti 0.12 Na 0.36 K 1.85 P 7.07 O 10.95 F 36.06 H 0.04 and______________________________________
- (b) having the following physical characteristics: Linear thermal expansion coefficient .alpha..sub.20/300 .degree.C.[10.sup.-6 .multidot.1/.degree.C.]: 14.6;
- ______________________________________Glass transition temp. T.sub.g 472.degree. C.;Density .zeta. 3.51 g/cm.sup.3 ;Knoop-hardness HK 390.______________________________________
