Claims
- 1. An optical information carrier comprising a hollow cylinder (1), a recording layer (2) connected with the hollow ccylinder (1) and intended for recording information thereon, and two bushings (3, 4) located each at the ends of the hollow cylinder (1) to form an air-tight space (5), characterized in that each of said bushings having first and second outer diameters, the first outer diameter of each bushing being greater than the second outer diameter thereof, and said second outer diameters of said bushings not exceeding the inner diameter of the hollow cylinder (1), said bushings serving to seal off the space (5) which is internal relative to the hollow cylinder (1).
- 2. An optical information carrier as claimed in claim 1, wherein the air-tight space (5) is filled with a gas inert to the material of the information carrier components, characterized in that the gas pressure in the air-tight space is maintained within 0.001 to 1.0 mm Hg.
- 3. An optical information carrier as claimed in claim 1, comprising a second hollow cylinder (4) located coaxially inside the first hollow cylinder, the inner surface of which is provided with a recording layer and the inner space between the first hollow cylinder (1) and the second hollow cylinder (4) is sealed off by ring-shaped bushings (38, 39) located in the end portions thereof, characterized in that the layer (2) of a recording material is applied to the outer surface of the second hollow cylinder (4) opposite to the recording layer (2) on the first hollow cylinder (1).
- 4. An optical information carrier as claimed in claim 2, comprising a second hollow cylinder (4) located coaxially inside the first hollow cylinder, the inner surface of which is provided with a recording layer, and the inner space between the first hollow cylinder (1) and the second hollow cylinder (4) is sealed off by ring-shaped bushings (38, 39) located in the end portions thereof, characterized in that layer (2) of a recording material is applied to the outer surface of the second hollow cylinder (4) opposite to the recording layer (2) on the first hollow cylinder (1).
