Claims
- 1. An optical transmission unit comprising:a first optical amplifier which amplifies a first wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a first optical branching filter which receives the first wavelength-multiplexed signal light outputted by said first optical amplifier and splits the received first wavelength-multiplexed signal light into a second wavelength-multiplexed signal light and a third wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a dispersion compensator which compensates dispersion of the third wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a second optical branching filter which splits the third wavelength-multiplexed signal light whose dispersion has been compensated by said dispersion compensator into individual wavelength signal lights; and an optical coupler which couples the second wavelength-multiplexed signal light and at least one of the individual wavelength signal lights outputted by the second optical branching filter.
- 2. The optical transmission unit according to claim 1, further comprising:at least one second optical amplifier which amplifies the individual wavelength signal light.
- 3. An optical transmission unit comprising:a first optical amplifier which amplifies a first wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a first optical branching filter which receives the first wavelength-multiplexed signal light outputted by said first optical amplifier and splits the received first wavelength-multiplexed signal light into a second wavelength-multiplexed signal light and a third wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a dispersion compensator which compensates dispersion of the third wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a second optical branching filter which splits and third wavelength-multiplexed signal light whose dispersion has been compensated by said dispersion compensator into individual wavelength signal lights; a second optical coupler which couples at least two of the individual wavelength signal lights outputted by said second optical branching filter to output a fourth wavelength-multiplexed signal light; a first optical coupler which couples the second wavelength-multiplexed signal light and the fourth wavelength-multiplexed signal light.
- 4. The optical transmission unit according to claim 3, further comprising:at least one second optical amplifier which amplifies the individual wavelength signal light.
- 5. The optical transmission unit according to claim 3, further comprising:a third optical amplifier which amplifies the fourth wavelength-multiplexed signal light.
- 6. The optical transmission unit according to claim 4, further comprising:a third optical amplifier which amplifies the fourth wavelength-multiplexed signal light.
