Claims
- 1. A method for ratio estimation comprising the steps of:
(a) reading a block of respective data from two sources; (b) computing respective frequency domain representations for said data; (c) computing instantaneous ratios between said representations; (d) computing weights from said ratios; (e) returning to a time-domain representation; and (f) outputting results obtained in step (d).
- 2. A method as recited in claim 1, comprising the steps of:
creating and updating histograms from said ratios; finding and updating peaks and permutations from said histograms; and outputting the results for use in step (d).
- 3. A method as recited in claim 1, wherein said steps are carried out on line.
- 4. A method as recited in claim 1, wherein said steps are carried out off line.
