Claims
- 1. An optomechanical system comprising:a sphere adapted for mounting an optical element in the sphere; a first set of one or more springs in contact with the sphere; and a second set of one or more springs in contact with the sphere, wherein the first and second set of springs permit rotation of the sphere during alignment, but otherwise maintain the orientation of the sphere.
- 2. The system of claim 1, wherein each spring in the first set comprises a spring washer.
- 3. The system of claim 1, wherein each spring in the first and second sets comprises a spring washer.
