The present invention relates generally to smoking accessory, more specifically but not by limitation, an accessory configured to operably couple with a smoking or vaping apparatus wherein the interface provides a user of the aforementioned apparatus a singular interface that is not shared so as to inhibit the likelihood of the spread of germs as a result of engaging with the smoking or vaping apparatus.
As is known in the art, smoking and vaping apparatus are quite popular. With the legalization of marijuana in many jurisdictions, smoking apparatus such as but not limited to bongs are frequently utilized in large settings. Conventional utilization of bongs typically is such that many users will alternate inhalations from the mouthpiece of the bong. As the bong is passed amongst the users thereof, the accumulation of germs occurs at the mouthpiece of the bong. The bong mouthpiece is typically a glass tube wherein each user will place their mouth on the glass tube and sealably engage therewith. During this engagement the transfer of saliva deposits almost always happens and as such the deposit of germs occurs on the mouthpiece of the bong.
Another popular device is the vape. The vape is a device that provides a water vapor to the user instead of smoke. The vape device is inhaled much like traditional cigars or cigarettes wherein the user will place the mouthpiece of the vape in their mouth and inhale. As vape devices are shared the transfer of germs occurs which creates an undesirable environment for users.
It is intended within the scope of the present invention to provide an interface to engage a device such as but not limited to a vape or bong wherein the device is singular to a user and separable therefrom so as to inhibit contamination of the device with germs from the mouth of a user.
It is the object of the present invention to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein the device is releasably secured to a vape or bong and is operable to inhibit the spread of germs during utilization of the bong or vape by a plurality of users.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a device that is releasably secured to a bong or vape and operable to inhibit the spread of germs wherein the device is manufactured from food grade silicone.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein the device includes a body having a first end and a second end wherein the first end has a diameter that is less than that of the second end.
Still another object of the present invention is to provide a device that is releasably secured to a bong or vape and operable to inhibit the spread of germs wherein the body is funnel shaped.
An additional object of the present invention is to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein the body is utilized in a first position and a second position dependent upon engagement with a vape or bong.
Yet a further object of the present invention is to provide a device that is releasably secured to a bong or vape and operable to inhibit the spread of germs wherein in the first position a user will engage the first end and the second end is operably coupled to a vape.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein in the second position the user will engage the second end and the device is operably coupled to a bong.
An alternate object of the present invention is to provide a device that is releasably secured to a bong or vape and operable to inhibit the spread of germs wherein the body is pliable so as to provide a sealable coupling with either a vape or bong.
Still a further object of the present invention is to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein the device has no impact on the airflow from either a vape or a bong.
An additional object of the present invention is to provide a device that is releasably secured to a bong or vape and operable to inhibit the spread of germs wherein the device is flame resistant.
A further object of the present invention is to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein the device can be cleaned utilizing a conventional dishwasher.
An alternative objective of the present invention is to provide a device that is releasably secured to a bong or vape and operable to inhibit the spread of germs wherein the body material is hygienic.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a device that is configured to engage a device such as but not limited to a bong or a vape wherein the device is provided in a plurality of colors and sizes.
To the accomplishment of the above and related objects the present invention may be embodied in the form illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Attention is called to the fact that the drawings are illustrative only. Variations are contemplated as being a part of the present invention, limited only by the scope of the claims.

Referring in particular to the Figures submitted herewith, the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 includes a body 10. The body 10 of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 is manufactured from a pliable flame-resistant material such but not limited to silicone. It is further desirable within the scope of the present invention that the material of the body 10 is antimicrobial. Lastly, it should be understood within the scope of the present invention that the body 10 could be manufactured in alternate sizes and colors. The body 10 includes a first end 11 and second end 12 wherein the body 10 has a diameter proximate the first end 11 that is less than that of the second end 12. In a preferred embodiment of the body 10 the body 10 is funnel shaped being tapered from the second end 12 to the first end 11. The body 10 has a hollow passage 15 extending between the first end 11 and second end 12.
Located at the first end 11 is a first opening 20. A second opening 25 is formed at the second end 12 of the body 10. The first opening 20 and second opening 25 are in fluid communication with each other via hollow passage 15. As will be further discussed herein, the hollow passage 15 in conjunction with the first opening 11 and second opening 12 facilitates the transfer of smoke and/or vape fumes through the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 in order to be inhaled by a user of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100.
The oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 is utilized in a first position and a second position wherein the position of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 is dependent upon the type of smoking/inhalation device with which the user of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 is operably coupling the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 thereto. As illustrated in the Figures submitted as a part hereof, the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 is designed to be operably coupled to a vaping device and a bong style device. During operable engagement with a vape device 98 the first end 11 is positioned so as to be engaged by a user's mouth. In the first position the second end 12 of the body 10 is superposed an upper portion of the vape device 98 so as to facilitate the ability for a user to inhale from the vape device 98 without having to place their mouth on the vape device 98. As the body 10 is manufactured from a pliable material such as but not limited to silicon, the inner surface 29 proximate the hollow passage 15 will seal against an upper portion of the vape device 98 so as to provide a sufficient seal to allow a user to execute a draw on the vape device 98 and inhibit leaks in the area of operable engagement of the vape device 98 and the body 10 of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100.
In the second position, the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 is positioned so as to operably coupled to a bong style device 99. In the second position, the first end 11 of the body 10 is inserted into an opening 97 of the bong style device 99 so as to facilitate the partial insertion of the body 10 into the bong style device 99. The pliable material of the body 10 allows for the creation of a sealably coupling with the bong style device 99 so as to inhibit leakage of smoke therefrom. The second end 12 is positioned upwards in order to provide the second opening 25 in a position that is accessible by a user. Ensuing the operable coupling of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100 with the bong style device 99 a user can inhale smoke produced from the bong style device 99 wherein a user will place their mouth on the second opening 25 of the body 10 so as to execute the inhalation of the smoke. It is contemplated within the scope of the present invention that the diameter of the second opening 25 could be provided in alternate sizes so as to accommodate alternate size mouths of the users of the oral interface for smoking apparatus 100.
