Claims
- 1. A process for converting a feedstock comprising organic compounds to conversion product which comprises contacting said feedstock at organic compound conversion conditions with a catalyst composition comprising an active form of synthetic porous crystalline material characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern including values substantially as set forth in Table I of the specification and having a composition comprising the molar relationship
- X.sub.2 O.sub.3 :(n)YO.sub.2,
- wherein n is from greater than about 10 to about 1000, X is a trivalent element, and Y is a tetravalent element.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein said crystalline material is characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern including values substantially as set forth in Table III of the specification.
- 3. The process of claim 1 wherein said crystalline material is characterized by an X-ray diffraction pattern including values substantially as set forth in Table IV of the specification.
- 4. The process of claim 1 wherein n is from greater than about 10 to about 400.
- 5. The process of claim 1 wherein n is from about 20 to about 200.
- 6. The process of claim 1 wherein said crystalline material comprises cations selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, hydrogen precursors, rare earth metals, metals of Groups IIA, IIIA, IVA, IB, IIB, IIIB, IVB, VIB and VIII of the Periodic Table of the Elements, and combinations thereof.
- 7. The process of claim 1 wherein X is a trivaent element selected from the group consisting of boron, iron, indium, gallium, aluminum, and a combination thereof; and Y is a tetravalent element selected from the group consisting of silicon, tin, germanium, and a combination thereof.
- 8. The process of claim 1 wherein X comprises aluminum, boron, or a combination thereof and Y comprises silicon.
- 9. The process of claim 1 wherein X comprises aluminum and Y comprises silicon.
- 10. The process of claim 6 wherein said cations comprise hydrogen or a hydrogen precursor.
- 11. The process of claim 6 wherein said cations comprise metals.
- 12. The process of claim 1 wherein said catalyst composition comprises a matrix selected from the group consisting of alumina, silica, zirconia, titania, magnesia, beryllia, and a combination thereof.
- 13. The process of claim 1 wherein said conversion conditions include a temperature of from about -25.degree. C. to about 760.degree. C. and a pressure of from about 0 to about 5,000 psig.
- 14. The process of claim 1 wherein said feedstock comprises paraffinic compounds, and said conversion conditions include a temperature of from about 200.degree. C. to about 315.degree. C., a pressure of from about 100 psig to about 1,000 psig, a weight hourly space velocity of from about 0.5 hr.sup.-1 to about 10 hr.sup.-1, and a hydrogen/ hydrocarbon mole ratio of from about 0.5 to about 10.
- 15. The process of claim 1 wherein said feedstock comprises isoalkanes and olefins, and said conversion conditions include a temperature of from about -25.degree. C. to about 400.degree. C., a pressure of from below atmospheric to about 5000 psig, a weight hourly space velocity of from about 0.01 hr.sup.-1 to about 100 hr.sup.-1, and a mole ratio of total isoalkanes/total olefins of from about 1/2 to about 100/1.
- 16. The process of claim 15 wherein said isoalkanes comprise isobutane and said olefins comprise 2-butene.
