Organic electroluminescent device

Abstract
An organic electroluminescent device comprises: a pair of electrodes; and at least one organic compound layer therebetween, the at least one organic compound layer comprises at least a light-emitting layer, wherein at least one of the at least one organic compound layer comprises at least one compound represented by formula (1):
Description
Claims
  • 1. An organic electroluminescent device, which comprises: a pair of electrodes; andat least one organic compound layer between the pair of electrodes, the at least one organic compound layer comprises at least a light-emitting layer, wherein at least one of the at least one organic compound layer comprises at least one compound represented by formula (1):
  • 2. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1, wherein the at least one compound represented by formula (1) has a glass transition temperature of from 130 to 450° C.
  • 3. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1, wherein the at least one compound represented by formula (1) has the lowest excited triplet energy level of from 63 kcal/mol (263.97 kJ/mol) to 95 kcal/mol (398.05 kJ/mol).
  • 4. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1, wherein the light-emitting layer comprises a light-emitting material, andwherein the light-emitting material comprises at least a phosphorescent material.
  • 5. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 4, wherein the phosphorescent material is an iridium complex or a platinum complex.
  • 6. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1, wherein the light-emitting layer comprises the at least one compound represented by formula (1).
  • 7. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 1, wherein the at least one compound represented by formula (1) is represented by formula (2):
  • 8. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 7, wherein the at least one compound represented by formula (2) is represented by formula (3):
  • 9. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 8, wherein the at least one compound represented by formula (3) is represented by formula (4):
  • 10. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 9, wherein the at least one compound represented by formula (4) is represented by formula (5):
  • 11. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 4, wherein the phosphorescent material is a platinum complex of a tetradentate ligand.
  • 12. The organic electroluminescent device according to claim 4, wherein the phosphorescent material is an iridium complex having a fluorine-substituted phenyl group in a ligand.
