Claims
- 1. A process for augmenting or enhancing the aroma of a perfumed article comprising the step of adding to said perfumed article an aroma augmenting or enhancing quantity of a mixture consisting essentially of phenylethyl methyl carbonate having the structure: ##STR38## and at least one substance selected from the group consisting of: (i) 3-methyl-1-phenyl-pentenol-5 or stereoisomers thereof having a structure selected from the group consisting of: ##STR39## (ii) at least one cyclohexyl butenone derivative defined according to the structure: ##STR40## wherein one or two of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon double bond and the other of the dashed lines is a carbon-carbon single bond with the proviso that when two of the dashed lines are carbon-carbon double bonds said carbon-carbon double bonds are conjugated.
- 2. The process of claim 1 wherein the perfumed article is a solid or liquid anionic, nonionic, cationic or zwitterionic detergent.
- 3. The process of claim 1 wherein the perfumed article is a fabric softener composition or a fabric softener article.
