This application claims the priority benefit of China application serial no. 202321251747.5, filed on May 19, 2023. The entirety of the above-mentioned patent application is hereby incorporated by reference herein and made a part of this specification.
The present invention relates to the technical field of outdoor umbrellas, in particular to an outdoor sunshade.
As an outdoor leisure appliance, an outdoor umbrella, also known as a sunshade, a sun umbrella, a roller umbrella, a central handle umbrella, a banana umbrella and so on, are widely used in plaza, beach, park and courtyard and other leisure places to provide people with comfortable space for leisure and enjoying the cool. According to the installation structure of an umbrella cover of the outdoor umbrella, there might be generally two types of umbrellas, i.e., an edge-on umbrella and a central handle umbrella. The main difference between the two types is the way to prop up the umbrella cover. For the edge-on umbrella, the umbrella post usually stands at one side of the umbrella cover, such as the roller umbrella and the banana umbrella, while for the central handle umbrella, the umbrella post stands at the center, and the umbrella cover expands outward with the umbrella post as the center.
For the edge-on umbrellas including banana umbrellas, etc., the umbrella post and the sunshade frame are generally applicable to the products with smaller specification of umbrella cover due to the structural characteristics thereof, and traditional banana umbrellas generally cannot achieve the angle adjustment of the umbrella cover. The roller umbrella, known as the most powerful outdoor sunshade, can rotate once in the horizontal direction or tilt 90 degrees in the vertical direction. Using a roller umbrella for sunshading is the most creative and leisure in the Chinese market. There is a large space under the umbrella where outdoor furniture can be freely placed; the umbrella can rotate freely in a direction of the umbrella cover, and can block sunlight at will. Compared with other umbrellas, roller umbrella has better shading effect and is more convenient to operate.
The existing edge-on umbrella type roller umbrellas are composed of a side stand column, an upper oblique pull rod, a lower oblique pull rod and an umbrella cover assembly comprising an upper umbrella tray, a lower umbrella tray, a central rod, an upper umbrella slotware and a lower umbrella slotware, and the roller umbrellas is generally of a structure such as a rocker wheel and a pulling rope to drive the unfolding and folding of the umbrella cover assembly; as disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 8,104,492 B2; the unfolding and folding of the umbrella cover of the outdoor umbrella with this structure usually requires the rotation operation of the crank handle, and the unfolding and folding of the umbrella cover is achieved by the rolling-up of the sunshade cord. However, the extent to which the sunshade cord is retracted directly affects the unfolding and folding stability of the umbrella cover, and the operation thereof is relatively complicated.
In addition, as disclosed in CN 215381924 U, an outdoor hanging umbrella comprises an umbrella post and an umbrella rod assembly, wherein the umbrella rod assembly comprises a first oblique rod, a second oblique rod, a long umbrella slotware and a short umbrella slotware, one end of the first oblique rod is hingedly engaged with a handle shell and the other end is hingedly engaged with an upper umbrella tray, one end of the second oblique rod is hingedly engaged with the top end of the umbrella post and the other end is hingedly engaged with a lower umbrella tray, a crossing assembly is provided between the first oblique rod and the second oblique rod and comprises a hinged base and a crossing member, the hinged base is mounted on the first oblique rod, and the hinged base is hingedly engaged with the crossing member. The hinged base and the crossing member are in a hinged position outside the first oblique rod, so that a gap exists after the first oblique rod and the second oblique rod are closed. The unfolding and folding operation can be completed directly by using the handle shell on the umbrella cover of this kind of hanging umbrella, but the angle adjustment in the unfolding state cannot be achieved on the umbrella cover of this structure, which has a great limitation.
For this purpose, as disclosed in CN 110916307 A, a combined hand-operated hanging umbrella, wherein a lower end of a transverse rod is connected to a slider on a stand column, a large short rib joint and an oblique rod joint are installed in the middle part of the transverse rod, an outer end of the large short rib is fixed on the large short rib joint and is rotatably connected to the transverse rod, a front end of the oblique rod is fixed on the oblique rod joint and is rotatably connected to the transverse rod, a blocking piece contacting the oblique rod joint is provided on the large short rib joint, and when the slider is pushed up, the oblique rod joint presses on the blocking piece to drive the large short rib joint to rotate synchronously, driving the lower umbrella runner to slide upwards on the upper section until unfolding of the umbrella is completed; the lower end of the upper section is provided with a pressing sheet for positioning the lower umbrella runner, one end of the rope is fixed on the pressing sheet, and the other end is exposed after passing through the upper section, the transverse rod and the slider; when the umbrella is retracted, the rope is pulled, the pressing sheet is retracted into the upper section, and the lower umbrella runner can move freely to achieve umbrella retraction. The structure of the present invention is simple and reasonable, the umbrella unfolding and folding are convenient and fast, and the rope is not required to bear wind force during the umbrella unfolding stage and the subsequent use stage of the product, not only the umbrella unfolding is more labor-saving, but also the strength born is higher and the structure is more stable.
However, during the long-term use of the above-mentioned outdoor sunshade, the contact position of the lower runner with the upper section after the unfolding of the umbrella tends to deviate, resulting in jamming between the upper section and the lower runner, resulting in the problem of unfolding the umbrella; in addition, after the lower runner is opened, the position of the lower runner can move along the upper section, resulting in relatively poor stability of the integral sunshade frame and affecting the supporting effect of the umbrella cloth.
In view of the above problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide an outdoor sunshade having stable and convenient operation of unfolding and folding the umbrella.
