The arrangement includes at least one water outlet (25) connected to at least one further channel (24).
Description
BACKGROUND

The present invention relates to an arrangement, in particular an outflow arrangement, having a housing which can be fitted on a water outlet of a sanitary outflow fitting via a water-throughflow opening of the housing.

Such devices are already known in a variety of embodiments from the prior art. For example, DE 10 2009 060 433 A1 describes an attachment which is intended for an outlet of a faucet and is formed from a cap which has a slot, which forms a throughflow opening and from which the water exits.

DE 20 2006 004 971 U1 discloses a cleaning-jet device for domestic water faucet, said device being arranged in a self-retaining manner on the outflow pipe or the water-jet aerator screwed thereon. Jet bores are arranged at the outlet and are designed to generate water jets which can perform a cleaning action without coinciding with the other, respectively adjacent water jets to form an overall jet.

U.S. Pat. No. 4,838,949 A, furthermore, discloses an arrangement which is intended for cleaning a wet-shaver head and comprises a throughflow opening directed into a chamber, wherein the mains water is fanned out from the wet-shaver head, which can be introduced into the chamber, by a deflector plate, which is located in the chamber.

U.S. Pat. No. 4,941,492 A discloses an arrangement which is intended for rinsing a razor head, can be positioned on a faucet and receives mains water at mains pressure. The arrangement channels the mains water in order to increase the flow speed, this creating a water jet which is directed at “high pressure” for the purpose of cleaning razor blades. The razor blade is introduced into a lower cavity of the arrangement, where it is cleaned by the mains-water jet, which is directed into the cavity at high pressure through a series of lines.

U.S. Pat. No. 8,689,830 B2, moreover, discloses a cleaning-jet body which comprises a device which is intended for generating a pulsating water jet and is made to rotate by means of the mains water exiting from the outlet of the faucet.

On the one hand, the disadvantage with the known arrangements is the in some cases complex design; on the other hand, these arrangements, once fitted on the faucet, are only suitable to generate a water jet suitable for cleaning a wet shaver. A faucet provided with such devices can therefore no longer be used as intended.

US 2012/318391 A1 has already disclosed a shower or a spray head with a switchover mechanism which can be switched over between different outflow-jet patterns with the aid of a pulling wire. For this purpose, the switchover mechanism used in the known shower or spray head has a water-channeling housing, which can have its water-throughflow opening mounted on a water connection. The water-throughflow opening of the housing is followed, in the throughflow direction, by a channel which is subdivided, on the outflow side, into channel portions which each lead to a water outlet. In order for it to be possible for the channel portion leading to one of the water outlets to be optionally selected, activated or deactivated, a (valve) device with a (valve) ball is provided, it being possible for the latter to be rotated by a rotary movement in front of one of the water outlets, and thus to close the water outlet, or to be rotated instead into an intermediate position, in which the water outlets are kept open simultaneously. Of course, the inflowing water from just one of the water outlets can exit at a higher flow speed than would be the case for water exiting from both water outlets simultaneously.

SUMMARY

The object of the present invention is to create an arrangement which does away with the aforementioned problems.

The invention achieves the aforementioned object using one or more features of the invention. Advantageous configurations and developments of the arrangement according to the invention are specified below and in the claims.

Along the lines of the aforementioned prior art, the arrangement according to the invention comprises a housing which comprises a water-throughflow opening which can be fitted on an outlet of a faucet and is followed by at least one channel, which directs water to at least one device which is arranged within the housing of the arrangement and is designed to generate a pulsating water jet of the mains water exiting from the outlet of the faucet, wherein the device receives the mains water via the channel and passes it on, at mains pressure, to a water outlet.

According to the invention, an arrangement of the type mentioned in the introduction is characterized in that it comprises at least one water outlet connected to at least one further channel.

The provision of an additional water outlet makes it possible, then, for the first time for the arrangement also to be utilized simultaneously for normal, intended use of the faucet.

For this purpose, the invention provides, within the housing, preferably at least one valve, a shut-off member and/or a deflecting member, by means of which the mains water is directed either into the one channel or into the other channel. The valve, shut-off member or deflecting member is actuated manually by the operator, either directly or indirectly via the design of the housing, which will be discussed hereinbelow.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

Further aims, features, advantages and possible uses of the arrangement according to the invention can be gathered from the following description of an exemplary embodiment with reference to the drawing. All the features described and/or illustrated here form in themselves, or in any desired combination, the subject matter of the invention, irrespective of how they are combined in individual claims or how they refer back.

In the drawings,

FIG. 1 shows the arrangement according to the invention in a schematic, opened-up side view; and

FIG. 2 shows the arrangement in plan view.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

As can be seen from FIG. 1, the arrangement 1 according to the invention is preferably formed from a multi-part housing 2 which can be fitted, by way of a water-throughflow opening 20, on the outlet of a faucet. Fitting can take place by a force-fitting or form-fitting connection, for example by clamping or screw connection.

The arrangement also comprises at least one device 21 which is designed to generate a pulsating water jet and/or to increase the flow speed of the mains water exiting from the outlet of the faucet. This device 21 is advantageously designed such that, when the faucet is opened, the prevailing water pressure is directed through a channel plate 28 with a plurality of channel bores in a row, which come into contact with a rotary valve 29, driven by the prevailing water pressure.

The water-throughflow opening 20 is followed by a water-directing channel 22, via which the mains water is guided to the device 21, which then passes it on, at mains pressure, to a water outlet 23.

As can be seen from FIG. 1 and FIG. 2, the arrangement 1 also comprises at least one water outlet 25 connected to at least one further channel 24.

The water outlets 23, 25 are advantageously arranged within a plurality of housing parts or housing chambers 2a, 2b, wherein at least one housing part or at least one housing chamber 2a, 2b is arranged in a rotatable or tiltable manner on the housing 2 or, in this case, on the housing part 2c, which belongs to the housing 2 and contains the water-throughflow opening 20.

Also provided is preferably at least one valve 26, a shut-off member 26 and/or a deflecting member 26, by which the mains water is directed either into the channel 22 or into the channel 24, which are followed by the two water outlets 23, 25.

The housing parts or housing chambers 2a, 2b preferably each have at least one water inlet 200a, 200b, wherein the at least one valve 26, shut-off member 26 or deflecting member 26 is designed, and arranged, such that rotation R or tilting (not illustrated) of one or more housing parts or housing chambers 2a, 2b causes the at least one valve 26, shut-off member 26 or deflecting member 26 to prevent the throughflow of the mains water at a water inlet 200a, 200b.

For this purpose, in those embodiments of the invention which are illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, the water inlets 200a, 200b are arranged in a rotatable manner at a cylindrical water-throughflow opening 20 or on a housing part 2c, which encloses the water-throughflow opening 20, wherein the at least one valve 26, shut-off member 26 or deflecting member 26 is arranged in a fixed manner within the water-throughflow opening 20 or the housing part 2c, which encloses the water-throughflow opening 20, in order to prevent throughflow into one of the two water inlets 200a, 200b.

In a further conceivable embodiment of the invention, the housing 2 is formed from two housing parts, wherein the housing part which contains the device 21 is arranged in a tiltable manner on the other housing part such that, in a preferably downwardly directed tilting position, the water inlet into the housing part which contains the device 21 is released and, in the other tilting position, the other water inlet of the other housing part is released by a valve 26, shut-off member 26 or deflecting member 26, which is arranged on the housing part containing the device 21, or by some other means.

In a further conceivable embodiment, the at least one valve 26, shut-off member 26 or deflecting member 26 can be actuated manually outside the housing 11.

As can be seen from FIG. 1, an opening 201 on which to arrange an aerator is provided on a housing part 2a or on a housing chamber 2a.

Furthermore, it is advantageous to provide, on the water outlet 23, a splash guard 3, which is formed from vertically oriented, flexible and/or elastic ribs 30 formed in a comb-like manner. The splash guard 23 is preferably arranged in an annular groove 31 on the housing chamber 2b.

It is also the case that a maintenance opening 202, which can be closed by a closure 27, is provided on a housing part or on a housing chamber 2a.

The design of the arrangement according to the invention is not restricted to the preferred embodiments specified above. Rather, a large number of variations which make use of the presented solution, even along with the fundamentally different design, are conceivable.

To summarize, therefore: The present invention relates to an arrangement (1), in particular an outflow arrangement, which is intended for cleaning for example a wet-shaver head having one or more blades, the arrangement having a housing (2) which can be fitted on a water outflow of a sanitary outflow fitting via a water-throughflow opening (20), which water-throughflow opening (20) is followed by at least one channel (22), which directs water to at least one device (21) which is arranged within the housing (2) of the arrangement (1) and is designed to generate a pulsating water jet and/or to increase the flow speed of the mains water exiting from the outlet of the faucet, wherein the device (21) receives the mains water via the channel (22) and passes it on, at mains pressure, to a water outlet (23). The arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that it comprises at least one water outlet (25) connected to at least one further channel (24).
