Claims
- 1. A herbicidal composition comprising a compound of formula I: wherein X represents H, hydroxy, mercapto, halo, cyano, nitro, amino, dimethylamino, methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, tertiarybutyl, halomethyl, cyanomethyl, methylthiomethyl, methylsulfinylmethyl, methylsulfonylmethyl, phenylthiomethyl, phenylsulfonylmethyl, methoxy, isopropoxy, pentyloxy, allyloxy, propynyloxy, methoxymethoxy, methylthiomethoxy, methylsulfonylmethoxy, carboxylpropoxy, ethoxycarbonylmethoxy, ethoxycarbonylpropoxy, carboxyl, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, isopropoxycarbonyl, acethoxy, toluenesulfonyloxy, benzyl, benzyloxy, dimethoxybenzyloxy, halobenzoyloxy, dimethoxy-benzoyloxy, phenyl, halophenyl, ethylphenyl, isopropylphenyl, methyl-halophenyl, ethylcarbamoyloxy, cyclohexylcarbamoyloxy, hexylcarbamoyloxy, ethoxycarbonyl-thiocarbamoyloxy, methylthio, methylsulfonyl, methylsulfinyl, phenylthio, phenylsulfinyl, phenylsulfonyl, phenoxy optionally substituted with halo, cyano, nitro, amino, dimethyl-amino, methyl, tertiarybutyl methoxy, phenyl or carbamoyl, pyrimidinyloxy optionally substituted with halo, methyl, methoxy or methanesulfony, pyridyloxy optionally substituted with halo, methyl or halomethyl, or dimethoxytriazyl; Y represents H, halo, methyl, ethyl, propyl, isobutyl, propenyl, butenyl, methoxymethyl, isopropoxymethyl, heptyloxymethyl, methoxyethoxymethyl, methylthiomethyl, ethylthiomethyl, ethylsulfonylmethyl, acethoxymethyl, benzyloxymethyl, ethoxy, benzyl, phenethyl, phenyl, methoxyphenyl, tosyl, dimethylphenyl, halophenyl, aminophenyl, haloacetylaminophenyl, phenoxymethyl, carboxyl, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, isopropoxycarbonyl, dimethylcarbamoyl, formyl, methoxyiminomethyl, ethoxyiminomethyl, styryl, ethoxycarbonylethenyl, cyanoethenyl, acetoethenyl, naphthyl, pyridyl; L is nitrogen, or carbon; Z is O, S, sulfonyl or sulfinyl; R1 and R2 are independently H, halo, cyano, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 haloalkyl, C1-C6 alkylamino, C1-C6 alkylthio; R3 is H, halogen, nitro, formyl, C1-C6 alkyl or acyl; m is 1 or 2; n is 1, 2, 3 or 4; and one or more component selected from the group consisting of wettable powder, dust, emulsifiable concentrate, vegetable powder, mineral powder, benzoate, urea, Glauber's salt, a petroleum fraction, mineral oil, vegetable oil, water, and a surface active agent.

A herbicidal composition comprising a compound having a formula: whereinX represents H hydroxy, mercapto, halo, cyano, nitro, amino, dimethylamino, methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, tertiarybutyl, halomethyl, cyanomethyl, methylthiomethyl, methylsulfinylmethyl, methylsulfonylmethyl, phenylthiomethyl, phenylsulfonylmethyl, methoxy, isopropoxy, pentyloxy, allyloxy, propynyloxy, methoxymethoxy, methylthiomethoxy, methylsulfonylmethoxy, carboxylpropoxy, ethoxycarbonylmethoxy, ethoxycarbonylpropoxy, carboxyl, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, isopropoxycarbonyl, acethoxy, toluenesulfonyloxy, benzyl, benzyloxy, dimethoxybenzyloxy, halobenzoyloxy, dimethoxy-benzoyloxy, phenyl, halophenyl, ethylphenyl, isopropylphenyl, methyl-halophenyl, ethylcarbamoyloxy, cyclohexylcarbamoyloxy, hexylcarbamoyloxy, ethoxycarbonyl-thiocarbamoyloxy, methylthio, methylsulfonyl, methylsulfinyl, phenylthio, phenylsulfinyl, phenylsulfonyl, phenoxy optionally substituted with halo, cyano, nitro, amino, dimethyl-amino, methyl, tertiarybutyl methoxy, phenyl or carbamoyl, pyrimidinyloxy optionally substituted with halo, methyl, methoxy or methanesulfony, pyridyloxy optionally substituted with halo, methyl or halomethyl, or dimethoxytriazyl; Y represents H, halo, methyl, ethyl, propyl, isobutyl, propenyl, butenyl, methoxymethyl, isopropoxymethyl, heptyloxymethyl, methoxyethoxymethyl, methylthiomethyl, ethylthiomethyl, ethylsulfonylmethyl, acethoxymethyl, benzyloxymethyl, ethoxy, benzyl, phenethyl, phenyl, methoxyphenyl, tosyl, dimethylphenyl, halophenyl, aminophenyl, haloacetylaminophenyl, phenoxymethyl, carboxyl, methoxycarbonyl, ethoxycarbonyl, isopropoxycarbonyl, dimethylcarbamoyl, formyl, methoxyiminomethyl, ethoxyiminomethyl, styryl, ethoxycarbonylethenyl, cyanoethenyl, acetoethenyl, naphthyl, pyridyl; L is nitrogen, or carbon; Z is O or S; R1 and R2 are independently H, halo, cyano, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-C6 alkoxy, C1-C6 haloalkyl, C1-C6 alkylamino, C1-C6 alkylthio; R3 is H, halogen, nitro, formyl, C1-C6 alkyl or acyl; m is 1 or 2; n is 1, 2, 3 or 4; and one or more component selected from the group consisting of wettable powder, dust, emulsifiable concentrate, vegetable powder, mineral powder, benzoate, urea, Glauber's salt, a petroleum fraction, mineral oil, vegetable oil, water, and a surface active agent.
