Claims
- 1. An oxide superconducting wire comprising:
an oxide superconducting filament; a matrix placed so as to enclose said oxide superconducting filament and which contains silver and antimony; a covering layer placed so as to enclose said matrix, containing silver and manganese, and having a thickness of 10 μm to 50 μm; and an insulating layer placed so as to enclose said covering layer.
- 2. An oxide superconducting wire according to claim 1, wherein said matrix contains 0.1% to 0.5% antimony by weight, and said covering layer contains 0.5% to 1.0% manganese by weight.
- 3. An oxide superconducting wire according to claim 2, wherein the manganese is dispersed as oxide particles in said covering layer. 4. An oxide superconducting wire according to claim 2, wherein the manganese exists while being in a solid solution in said covering layer.
