The present disclosure relates to the field of packaging devices, in particular to a packaging device.
In the process of manufacturing a display panel, it is often necessary to transport the display panel from one place to another. In order to protect the display panel during transportation, the display panel is usually placed in a packaging device for the display panel.
An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a packaging device, including a box body. The box body includes a bottom plate and a side plate fixed to a surface of the bottom plate. The bottom plate and the side plate jointly define an accommodating cavity. A top surface of the side plate includes: a first top surface at a first distance from the surface of the bottom plate, a second top surface at a second distance from the surface of the bottom plate, and a first slope surface connecting the first top surface and the second top surface; and the first distance is greater than the second distance, and the first top surface is located at an outermost side.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, an included angle between the first slope surface and the second top surface ranges from 100° to 110°.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, a width of the first top surface is greater than or equal to 10 mm, a width of the second top surface is greater than or equal to 10 mm, and a vertical distance between the first top surface and the second top surface is greater than or equal to 10 mm.
Optionally, the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure further includes a plurality of stoppers located in the accommodating cavity, wherein the stoppers are embedded in an annular side edge.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, a height of a stopper is the same as or equal to the second distance.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the box body is cubic, and the plurality of stoppers are respectively located at four corners of the box body.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, a shape of the top surface of the side plate matches a shape of a bottom surface of the side plate.
Optionally, the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure further includes a box cover covering the box body, wherein the box cover includes: a first bottom surface in close contact with the first top surface, a second bottom surface in close contact with the second top surface, and a second slope surface connecting the first bottom surface and the second bottom surface; and a width of the first top surface is the same as or equal to a width of the first bottom surface.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, an included angle between the second slope surface and the second bottom surface ranges from 100° to 110°.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, there are a plurality of box bodies, the plurality of box bodies are stacked in sequence and match, and the box cover covers an uppermost box body.
Optionally, the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure further includes a sealing member disposed on an outer side of the box body and the box cover.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the sealing member is a plastic bag or an aluminum foil vacuum bag.
Optionally, the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure further includes an aluminum foil cushion disposed at a bottom of the box body.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the box body and the box cover are made of an expanded material.
Optionally, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the expanded material includes expanded polystyrene or expanded polypropylene or expanded polyolefin composed of polyethylene and polystyrene.

A top surface of the side plate 2 includes: a first top surface 21 at a first distance D1 from the surface of the bottom plate 1, a second top surface 22 at a second distance D2 from the surface of the bottom plate 1, and a first slope surface 23 connecting the first top surface 21 and the second top surface 22.
The first distance D1 is greater than the second distance D2, and the first top surface 21 is located at the outermost side.
There may be four side plates 2, and the side plates 2 are connected in sequence to form a frame shape, and the side plate 2 may also be ring-shaped. The packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure may be configured to package and transport various types of display panels, such as liquid crystal display (LCD) panels and organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display panels. In some embodiments, the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure may also be configured to transport other products. Taking a liquid crystal display panel as an example, the liquid crystal display panel is placed in the accommodating cavity defined by the bottom plate and the side plates, and is prevented from moving through the accommodating cavity, so as to limit the liquid crystal display panel, thereby avoiding poor quality phenomena such as panel rupture and cracks during transportation.
In addition, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, since the distance from the first top surface to the surface of the bottom plate is greater than the distance from the second top surface to the surface of the bottom plate, that is, the top surface of the side plate of the box body is designed into an outer convex and inner concave structure, through the subsequent reasonable design of the sizes of the first top surface, the second top surface and the first slope surface and the angle of the first slope surface, when a box cover and the box body match, the box body and the box cover may match more closely, thereby improving the sealing effect of the packaging device, preventing moisture from entering the box body to corrode a product to be transported, preventing the product to be transported from being defective, and improving the quality of the product to be transported.

When a plurality of display panels are packaged through the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the quantity of display panels that may be packaged may be determined according to the internal size of the packaging device, and then a flexible structure is disposed between every two adjacent display panels to prevent direct contact between the display panels. In addition, flexible structures may be disposed on the bottoms and tops of the plurality of display panels to prevent direct contact between the bottom display panel and the box body and direct contact between the top display panel and the box cover, thereby increasing buffer protection and reducing friction damage.
In some embodiments, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, in order to further prevent the product to be transported, such as the liquid crystal display panel, from being corroded by moisture, the packaging device may further include a sealing member arranged on the outer side of the box body and the box cover, and the sealing member seals the box body, the box cover and the liquid crystal display panel in the accommodating cavity together to form a whole, thereby further protecting the panel from being corroded by moisture during transportation.
In some embodiments, the product to be transported has a low or high or medium moisture requirement. The low moisture requirement means that a small amount of moisture entering the accommodating cavity will not affect the performance of the product to be transported, while the high moisture requirement means that a small amount of moisture entering the accommodating cavity will affect the performance of the product to be transported. Therefore, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, when the product to be transported has the low moisture requirement, the sealing member may be a plastic bag; and when the product to be transported has the high moisture requirement, the sealing member is preferably an aluminum foil vacuum bag. The aluminum foil vacuum bag is used to wrap the box body, the box cover and the liquid crystal display panel together, and then vacuumizing is conducted, thereby realizing the vacuum preservation of the product to be transported, and realizing the purpose of moisture protection.
In some embodiments, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, in order to further prevent the product to be transported, such as the liquid crystal display panel, from being corroded by moisture, the packaging device may also include an aluminum foil cushion disposed at the bottom of the box body. The aluminum foil cushion may also prevent moisture from entering the accommodating cavity. The aluminum foil cushion may be used when the product to be transported has a general moisture requirement.
In some embodiments, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the box body and the box cover are preferably made of an expanded material. The expanded material is soft, and may play a buffering role when the box body and the box cover collide with external objects.
In some embodiments, in the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the expanded material includes, but is not limited to, expanded polystyrene (EPS) or expanded polypropylene (EPP) or expanded polyolefin (EPO) composed of polyethylene and polystyrene. In some embodiments, EPO may be composed of 30% of polyethylene and 70% of polystyrene.
In some embodiments, EPS is made from raw materials that are pre-expanded, cured, shaped, dried, and cut. EPS may not only be made into foam products of different densities and shapes, but also produce foam plates of various thicknesses. EPS is widely used in construction, heat preservation, packaging, freezing, daily necessities, industrial casting and other fields, and may also be used in manufacturing of exhibition venues, merchandise cabinets, advertising signs and toys.
EPP is a highly crystalline polymer/gas composite with excellent performance. With its unique and superior performance, it has become the fastest growing environment-friendly new type of compression-resistant buffering and thermal insulation material.
EPO is a light high molecular polymer. It is foam plastic with a hard closed-cell structure formed by adding a foaming agent into polystyrene resin, and meanwhile, heating to soften the mixture to generate gas.

In order to ensure that the interior of the packaging device is dry, a drying agent, such as CaCl2, may be placed inside the packaging device, and the airtightness of the packaging device of the present disclosure and the airtightness of the packaging device in the related art may be determined by comparing the initial mass of CaCl2 with the mass of CaCl2 after being placed in the packaging device for several days, as shown in Table 1 below.
As may be seen, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the mass of the drying agent CaCl2 is changed from 348.28 g (the initial mass) to 498.49 g (mass after 3 days), and the weight gain is 150.21 g, which is 44% of the initial mass. In the related art, the mass of the drying agent CaCl2 is changed from 329.29 g (the initial mass) to 487.53 g (mass after 3 days), and the weight gain is 158.24 g, which is 48% of the initial mass. Therefore, the moisture absorption amount of the drying agent in the related art is greater than that of the drying agent in the present disclosure, that is, the airtightness of the packaging device of the present disclosure is better.
2. Eleven liquid crystal display panels and eight packets of 40 g CaCl2 drying agent are placed in each of the packaging device in the present disclosure and the packaging device in the related art, and the testing conditions are shown in Table 2. After two cycles of testing, there are three poor liquid crystal display panels in the related art, while all the liquid crystal display panels in the present disclosure are OK; and after four cycles of testing, there are six poor liquid crystal display panels in the related art, while all the liquid crystal display panels in the present disclosure are OK. Therefore, the packaging device of the present disclosure has better airtightness.
3. Both the packaging device of the present disclosure and the packaging in the related art are placed in an environment with a temperature of 60° C. and a humidity of 90% RH for 450 h. As shown in Table 3 below, it may be seen that the humidity in the packaging device of the related art is 82.12% RH, while the humidity in the packaging device of the present disclosure is 70.42% RH. Therefore, the packaging device of the present disclosure has better airtightness.
In summary, the airtightness of the packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure is better than the airtightness of the packaging device in the related art.

The packaging device provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure includes the box body. The box body includes the bottom plate and the side plate fixed to the surface of the bottom plate. The bottom plate and the side plate jointly define the accommodating cavity. The top surface of the side plate includes: the first top surface at the first distance from the surface of the bottom plate, the second top surface at the second distance from the surface of the bottom plate, and the first slope surface connecting the first top surface and the second top surface. The first distance is greater than the second distance, and the first top surface is located at the outermost side. Since the distance from the first top surface of the side plate to the surface of the bottom plate is greater than the distance from the second top surface to the surface of the bottom plate, that is, the top surface of the side plate of the box body is designed into the outer convex and inner concave structure, through subsequent reasonable design of the sizes of the first top surface, the second top surface and the first slope surface and the angle of the first slope surface, when the box cover and the box body match, the box body and the box cover can match more closely, thereby improving the sealing effect of the packaging device, preventing moisture from entering the box body to corrode the product to be transported, preventing the product to be transported from being defective, and improving the quality of the product to be transported.
