Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention

The invention relates to hardware and software suites designed for interaction between paintball teams and competition organizers in terms of accounting of teams and their divisions, organization of delivery and/or return of boxes with paintballs based on the current local competition temperature so that the balls correspond to the optimal temperature depending on their technical characteristics, as well as for invoicing for boxes received and sending the invoices to the team's e-mail.

Brief Description of the Related Art

Various hardware and software suites are known from the prior art, which partially implement one or another functionality.

Thus, a hardware and software suite is known from the patent document US 2018/0003572 A1, published on Jan. 4, 2018, consisting of: a local server connected to a multifunctional router; a temperature probe connected to this router and ensuring the measurement of ambient temperature and transmission of the measured data to external devices; and a Wi-Fi router connected to the controller.

Also, a hardware and software suite is known from the patent document US 2019/0091577 A1, published on Mar. 28, 2019, consisting of: a system administrator computer ensuring completion of sessions on tablets and connected to a controller; and a game organizer computer connected to the controller.

And a hardware and software suite is known from the patent document US 2018/0144312 A1, published on May 24, 2018, supporting the transmission of payment notification to users' email.

However, the systems made on the basis of hardware and software suites that allow interaction of paintball teams with the competition organizers in terms of accounting of teams and their divisions, organization of issuance and/or return of boxes with paintballs based on the current local competition temperature so that the balls correspond to the optimal temperature depending on their technical characteristics, are not known and explicitly do not follow from the prior art.

In particular, the prior art does not allow us to implement the functionality of systems consisting of a customer tablet connected to a Wi-Fi-router that ensure displaying data in the form of types of paintballs according to the temperature probe readings and receiving input from a first user; and a personnel tablet for paintball receiving/delivering connected to a Wi-Fi-router and ensuring displaying data according to the details received from the above customer tablet, and ensuring the input receiving from the second user. That is, the existing state of the art has the disadvantage of low efficiency of the competition organization systems due to the lack of both control of the ambient temperature at the current moment of time, and the necessary communication between the participants and organizers of these competitions.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The object of the invention is to eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art.

In accomplishing the task, the invention achieves a technical result consisting in increasing the efficiency of the paintball suggestion system.

The task is accomplished, and the technical result is achieved by a temperature-based paintball suggestion system consisting of:

    • local server connected to the controller;
    • customer tablet connected to a Wi-Fi router and ensuring displaying the types of paintballs according to the temperature probe readings and inputs received from a first user;
    • a personnel tablet for paintball receiving/delivering connected to a Wi-Fi-router and ensuring displaying data according to the details received from the above customer tablet, and ensuring the input receiving from the second user.
    • a system administrator computer ensuring completion of sessions on tablets and connected to a controller;
    • a game organizer computer connected to the controller.
    • a temperature probe connected to this router and ensuring the measurement of ambient temperature and transmission of the measured data to external devices;
    • a Wi-Fi router connected to the controller;
    • at the same time, the system ensures the transmission of payment notifications to the users' e-mail.

According to an additional aspect of the invention, a multifunctional router is used as a controller.

    • 9—Wi-Fi router.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

Non-limiting embodiment.

1. System Installation:

    • a. Connection of local server, computer of system administrator and game organizer, Wi-Fi-router, and temperature probe to the controller.

    • b. Installation of the software suite on the Proshar Game Service local server through the computer of the system administrator, registration of at least one user with access for the game organizer, tablet for customers and tablet for the receiving/delivering personnel.

    • c. Connecting the customer tablet and the tablet for receiving/delivering personnel to a Wi-Fi router.

    • d. Running the Proshar Game Service web application on the game organizer's computer, the customer tablet and the tablet for the receiving/delivering personnel under the respective access rights.

2. Preparation for Competition:

    • a. The game organizer registers the initial number of boxes with paintballs that will be available for distribution to the competition participants, taking into account the optimum usage temperature depending on the technical characteristics of the balls.

    • b. The game organizer registers the teams that will participate in the competition.

    • c. A desk is installed at the competition site for players with iPad tablets.

    • d. A box (with paintballs) delivery/return desk is installed at the competition site with an iPad tablet.

    • e. A temperature probe is installed at the competition site near the playing field.

3. The Beginning of the Competition:

    • a. The System is launched on the team desk tablet through a “client” access user.

    • b. The System is launched on the track tablet through a “track” access user.

    • c. To receive new and return unused boxes with paintballs, a player must approach the team desk and create a ticket to receive or return boxes; once the ticket is created, the team approaches the “track” desk to receive/return boxes. After confirming the fact of delivering or returning the boxes as per the ticket at the “track” desk, a confirmation of ticket processing is sent to the team's e-mail. At the end of the competition, the team will be invoiced for the boxes received. Teams will be notified of this by the organizers.

      i. Customer Desk

    • 1. A team member approaches the team desk.

    • 2. He enters their team ID on the tablet.

    • 3. He selects the ticket type: receive or return.

    • 4. The type of boxes is offered to the player according to the current weather conditions received from the temperature probe. The player chooses the type of balls.

    • 5 He enters the number of boxes.

    • 6. He confirms that the ticket has been created.

      ii. Receiving Delivering Desk

    • 1. Once created, the ticket automatically appears on the “track” tablet.

    • 2. A team member approaches the “track” desk and names his team to the organizer at the desk.

    • 3. The organizer delivers to or receives from the team member the boxes of the selected type in the amount specified in the ticket.

    • 4. The organizer confirms that the boxes are received/delivered on the tablet of the receiving/delivering personnel. If the type or quantity of boxes on return differs from those specified in the ticket, or if the team has changed their mind about receiving/returning boxes, the personnel will reject the ticket.

4. At the End of the Competition Day, if the Competition Takes Several Days and at the End of the Competition:

    • a. The system administrator terminates active user sessions on the tablets.

5. Termination of the Competition:

    • a. The game organizer invoices each team. The administrator specifies the necessary invoice parameters (number of free boxes, discount) and sends it to the team.

    • b. The system administrator disconnects all elements of the system from each other.

The Proshar Game Service software suite includes following elements: a web application, DBMS, and a temperature probe module.

The web application is available on demand via the http protocol. The information processing method is mixed: the system user enters data that are further processed automatically. Data entry method: entering data into preset forms. Output method is automatic, at the user's request. Output method: receiving data from the system database, converting it into a readable format at the user's request.

DBMS is represented by tables. Tables: sessions, users, teams, stock, tickets. The temperature probe module provides an API so that a web application may access the temperature probe through a web server. The module provides the current temperature upon API request.

Such a structure and an interconnection of the system's elements suggesting the paintballs on the basis of ambient temperature allow you to overcome the disadvantages of the existing state of the art and to increase the efficiency of a paintball suggesting system.
