Claims
- 1. A conveyor for transporting pallets on a transport vehicle, comprising: a first and a second conveyor, each of said first and second conveyor having a drive chain affixed to a plurality of carriage trucks and to a forward and rear sprocket, a first and a second rotation hub, each of said carriage trucks having a carriage extending from said carriage truck and having an upper end thereof, said upper end of said carriage having a pin extending outwardly therefrom.
- 2. The conveyor for transporting pallets of claim 1 wherein each of said carriage trucks has a first and a second carriage wheel on opposing ends of said carriage truck.
- 3. The conveyor for transporting pallets of claim 2 wherein said first and said second rotation hub on each of said first and second conveyor are positioned distally apart and define an upper conveyance track and a lower conveyance track on each of said conveyor.
- 4. The conveyor for transporting pallets of claim 3 wherein said first and said second rotation hub has an outer wall contacting said carriage wheels on each of said carriage trucks.
- 5. The conveyor for transporting pallets on a transport vehicle of claim 1 further comprising a plurality of pallets positioned between said first and said second conveyor and rotationally connected to said carriages on said first conveyor and said carriages on said second conveyor.
- 6. The conveyor for transporting pallets of claim 3 wherein said upper and said lower conveyance tracks are co-aligned.
- 7. The conveyor for transporting pallets on a transport vehicle of claim 1 further comprising a plurality of pallets supported between said first and said second conveyor along an upper conveyance track and a lower conveyance track, said plurality of pallets rotationally supported on said first and said second conveyor by said carriages.
- 8. The conveyor for transporting pallets on a transport vehicle of claim 7 wherein each of said plurality of pallets are rotationally supported by a first and a second pin, said first pin affixed to a first carriage on said first conveyor, said second pin connected to a second carriage on said second conveyor.
- 9. The conveyor for transporting pallets on a transport vehicle of claim 1 wherein said first and said second conveyor define a first conveyor path and a second conveyor path, said first conveyor path above said second conveyor path, said first and said second conveyor forming an ovalized rotational conveyor system between which are supported a plurality of pallets, each of said plurality of pallets rotationally connected to said first conveyor and said second conveyor
- 10. The conveyor for transporting pallets on a transport vehicle of claim 1 further comprising a plurality of pallets rotationally supported between said first and said second conveyor, said first and said second conveyor defining a continuous ovalized carriage truck track defining a upper and a lower conveyance track, each of said plurality of pallets rotationally supported between said first and said second conveyor on at least one carriage from said first conveyor and at least one carriage from said second conveyor.
- 11. A conveyor system for loading and transporting a plurality of pallets on a truck bed, comprising:
a first and a second circular conveyor spaced apart and mounted on a truck bed defining an upper conveyance path and a lower conveyance path; a plurality of pallets suspended between said first and said second conveyor; wherein each of said pallets is rotatably supported on a first and a second side by a first and a second carriage, said first carriage mounted to said first conveyor, said second carriage mounted to said second conveyor.
- 12. The conveyor system of claim 11 wherein each of said first and said second circular conveyor define a continuous carriage truck track, said carriage truck track retaining a drive chain affixed to said carriages.
- 13. The conveyor system of claim 12 wherein each of said carriages has an outwardly extending pin, said pin rotationally connected to at least one of said pallet.
- 14. The conveyor system of claim 11 wherein said first and said second circular conveyor forms a continuous circular track, said continuous circular track having a first rotation hub at a first end and a second rotation hub at a second end, said first and said second rotation hub having an outer wall forming a turn between said upper conveyance path and said lower conveyance path.
- 15. The conveyor system of claim 11 wherein each of said pallets is rotationally supported between said first circular conveyor and said second circular conveyor.
- 16. The conveyor system of claim 12 wherein each of said carriages is connected to a carriage truck, said carriage truck having opposing carriage truck wheels at a first distal end and a second distal end.
- 17. The conveyor system of claim 16 wherein said carriage truck wheels contact an outer wall of a first and a second rotation hub when said carriage is positioned in said first rotation hub or said second rotation hub.
- 18. The conveyor system of claim 12 wherein said carriage truck track forms a continuous ovalized conveyance path on said truck bed, said continuous ovalized conveyance path having an upper conveyance path and a lower conveyance path, said plurality of pallets on said upper conveyance path suspended above said plurality of pallets on said lower conveyance path.
- 19. The conveyor system of claim 14 wherein said drive chain is connected to a forward sprocket at said first rotation hub, said forward sprocket drivingly connected to a drive motor.
- 20. The conveyor system of claim 15 wherein each of said plurality of pallets is connected to a first pin on said first carriage on a first side wall of said pallet and a second pin on said second carriage on a second side of said pallet, said first side and said second side of said pallet having a bottom wall extending therebetween.
- 21. The conveyor system for loading and transporting a plurality of pallets on a truck bed, comprising:
a first and a second circular conveyor mounted on a truck bed, said first and said second circular conveyor defining an upper conveyance path and a lower conveyance path; a plurality of pallets suspended between said first conveyor and said second convey or along said upper conveyance path and said lower conveyance path; wherein each of said pallets has a first side wall and a second side wall, each of said pallets supported on said first side wall by a first carriage mounted on said first conveyor, said second side wall mounted on a second carriage connected to said second conveyor; wherein said first conveyor and said second conveyor define an ovalized carriage truck track, said ovalized carriage truck track suspending a plurality of pallets on said upper conveyance path and a plurality of pallets on said lower conveyance path.
- 22. A pallet and conveyor system for loading a transport, comprising:
a plurality of pallets suspended between a first conveyor and a second conveyor, said first and said second conveyor in spaced apart separated relationship, said first conveyor and said second conveyor defining a first conveyance path above a second conveyance path; each of said plurality of pallets rotatably supported by a first and a second carriage, said first carriage affixed to said first conveyor, said second carriage affixed to said second conveyor.
- 23. The pallet and conveyor system of claim 22 wherein each of said first carriage and said second carriage is connected to a carriage truck, said carriage truck having at least one carriage truck wheel formed thereon.
- 24. The pallet and conveyor system of claim 22 wherein each of said pallets has a first side wall and a second side wall, said first side wall having a first support arm, said second side wall having a second support arm, said first support arm affixed to a first pin extending from said first carriage, said second support arm affixed to a second pin on said second carriage.
- 25. The pallet and conveyor system of claim 24 wherein said first conveyor and said second conveyor each has a first rotation hub and a second rotation hub at opposing distal ends.
- 26. The pallet and conveyor system of claim 23 wherein said first conveyance path and said second conveyance path form an ovalized carriage truck track to receive said carriage trucks.
- 27. The pallet and conveyor system of claim 22 wherein each of said first and said second conveyor has:
a drive chain, said drive chain affixed to a plurality of carriage trucks, each of said carriage trucks having an outwardly extending carriage; and a forward sprocket and a rear sprocket connected to said drive chain.
- 28. The pallet and conveyor system of claim 22 wherein both said first and said second conveyor have a plurality of carriage trucks affixed to a drive chain, each of said carriage trucks having a first and a second carriage truck wheel rotatably connected thereto and positioned at opposite ends of said carriage truck.
- 29. A conveyor system for suspending a plurality of pallets, comprising:
a first and a second ovalized conveyor in separated relationship, said first and said second conveyor rotationally connected to a plurality of pallets suspended between said first and said second conveyor and defining an ovalized conveyance path for said plurality of pallets, said ovalized conveyance path including an upper conveyance path and a lower conveyance path, said upper conveyance path suspending at least one of said pallets directly above at least one of said pallets on said lower conveyance path.
- 30. A pallet and conveyor system for loading a plurality of pallets onto a transport vehicle, comprising:
a first conveyor mounted to a truck bed and separated from a second conveyor mounted to said truck bed, said first and said second conveyor rotationally supporting a plurality of pallets there between; said first and said second conveyor each having an ovalized carriage truck track having a drive chain and a plurality of carriage trucks retained therein, each of said carriage trucks having a carriage support affixed thereto, said carriage supports having a pallet connecting pin formed on a distal end.
- 31. A pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor, comprising;
a first and a second side wall; a bottom wall interposed between said first and said second side wall; a first support arm extending outward from said first side wall and a second support arm extending outward from said second side wall; wherein each of said first and said second support arms have a rotational open support arm top.
- 32. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 31 wherein said first and said second support arm each have a first depending wall and a second depending wall forming an inverted V-shaped rotational support.
- 33. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 32 wherein said inverted V-shaped rotational support forms said rotational open support arm top.
- 34. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 31 further comprising a tire retaining device extending along a front edge and rotationally connected to said first and said second side wall.
- 35. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 34 wherein said tire retaining device is comprised of a lateral bar extending along a front edge of said pallet and having an inner plate and an outer plate at either distal ends and rotationally connected to said first and said second side wall by a first pivot pin extending through said first side wall and a second pivot pin extending through said second side wall.
- 36. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 35 wherein said first side wall and said inner plate and said outer plate have an aperture for receiving a security pin therethrough.
- 37. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 34 further comprising a plurality of fork apertures formed along a bottom surface of said bottom wall.
- 38. The pallet for use in a stacked suspension conveyor of claim 37 wherein said for plurality of fork apertures is further comprised of a first plurality of parallel forked apertures and a second plurality of parallel forked apertures, said first plurality and said second plurality perpendicular to each other.
- 39. A suspension pallet, comprising:
a first and a second side wall with a bottom wall therebetween; a first rotational capture arm extending outward from said first side wall; a second rotational capture arm extending outward from said second side wall; wherein said suspension pallet is suspended between a first and a second carriage support, said first carriage support received within said first rotational capture arm, said second carriage support received within said second rotational capture arm.
- 40. The suspension pallet of claim 39 wherein each of said first and said second rotational capture arms are an inverted V-shaped pallet support arm.
- 41. The suspension pallet of claim 40 wherein each of said first and said second rotational capture arms has a first depending wall, a second depending wall, an open top area and a support arm head extending between said first depending wall and said second depending wall.
- 42. The suspension pallet of claim 39 further comprising a rotational cargo retaining device, said rotational cargo retaining device rotationally connected to said first side wall at a first distal end and said second side wall at a second distal end.
- 43. The suspension pallet of claim 42 wherein said rotational cargo retaining device has a first inner plate and a first outer plate at said first distal end of said cargo retaining device and a second inner plate and a second outer plate at said second distal end.
- 44. The suspension pallet of claim 40 further comprising a cargo retaining device extending between said first side wall and said second side wall, said cargo retaining device rotationally connected to said pallet at said first side wall and said second side wall.
- 45. A pallet system for use with a suspension conveyor, comprising:
a bottom wall having a first and second side wall extending upward therefrom; a first pallet support arm extending outward from said first side wall; a second pallet support arm extending outward from said second side wall; wherein each of said first and said second pallet support arms are an inverted V-shaped support arm having a first depending wall, a second depending wall and a support arm head therebetween, said support arm head curving between said first depending wall and said second depending wall.
- 46. The pallet of claim 45 wherein said first and said second pallet support each have an open top area adjacent said support arm head.
- 47. The pallet of claim 46 further comprising at least one tire retaining device rotationally attached at a first end to said first side wall and at a second distal end to said second side wall.
- 48. The pallet of claim 47 wherein said at least one tire retaining device has an aperture for receiving a security pin therethrough, said security pin extending through said retaining device and said first side wall.
- 49. The pallet of claim 45 wherein said first and said second side wall each have projections on a top edge and positionally mating apertures on said bottom wall, said positionally mating apertures and said projections on said first and said second side wall allowing a plurality of pallets to be stacked upon each other.
- 50. A pallet for suspension between a first and second conveyor, comprising:
a first and second side wall having a bottom wall extending between said first and said second side wall; a first rotational capture arm extending outward from said first side wall; a second rotational capture arm extending outward from said second side wall; a plurality of apertures formed on a bottom surface of said bottom wall; a plurality of projections extending upward from a top edge of said first and said second side wall, said plurality of projections on said first and said second side wall being in positionally mating relationship with said plurality of apertures on said bottom wall.
- 51. The pallet of claim 50 further comprising at least one cargo retaining device pivotally connected at a first end to said first side wall and at a second end to said second side wall.
- 52. A pallet for use in a stacked pallet suspension conveyor system, comprising:
a pallet having a first and a second side wall connected along a bottom edge by a bottom wall; a first inverted V-shaped rotational support arm extending outward from said first side wall; a second inverted V-shaped rotational support arm extending outward from said second side wall; each of said first and said second support arm having a carriage support capturing section and a support arm head section, said carriage support capturing section being wider than said carriage support arm head section.
