PALLET STRUCTURE HAVING PRESET SHAPE FOR HOLDING SUPPORT

Abstract
A pallet structure having a preset shape for holding a support, the pallet structure comprising a shape main body and at least one support accommodated in the shape main body. The shape main body is provided with transverse grooves for accommodating a fork for lifting pallet. An elongate transverse strip can be placed in the transverse groove. The rigidity and load capacity of the pallet structure can be enhanced when placed on the ground with goods or lifted from the ground. The shape main body is provided with vertical grooves conformed to the appearance of the support, which allows the support on the shape main body to not easily displace and loosen, and also provides supporting and fork-lifting rigidity during carrying the goods with better weather resistance to avoid moisture and rust. Moreover, different load capacities can be achieved by modifying the amount, material, shape, thickness, etc. of the support.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of Invention

The present invention relates to a pallet structure, in particular to a pallet structure having preset shape for holding supports to enhance structure, which can greatly decrease assembling and fastening work for the pallet structure. Also, the assembly costs of the pallet is reduced, and the load capacity can be simply adapted to meet different load requirements.


Related Art

In order to transport a large amount of goods at one time, the concept of placing the goods on the frame body and moving the frame body by a power machine while carrying the goods was developed. Corresponding to this, the pallet was born. The pallet is flat-shaped frame with a penetration space therebelow. The forks of the power machine, such as forklifts, can penetrate into the penetration space to lift up the pallets for transportation.


Most wooden pallets are made of natural wood as a raw material. The wooden pallets have excellent load capacity, but they are too bulky and prone to blackening, mildewing and worm damage. It is required to be refurbished and maintained manually. In particular, governments around the world are increasingly demanding to restrict the use of various wooden packaging materials, including wooden pallets. Take the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) for example, in order to prevent pests, users must comply with ISPM 15 (International Standard for Phytosanitary Measures No. 15). Therefore, expensive costs and complicated and cumbersome procedures must be added during processing. It also increases the risk of import and export of goods and even if it is possible to be rejected to cause delay of goods. Therefore, it has a tendency to be gradually replaced.


Plastic pallets are usually not strong and are easier to be bend and deformed than the wooden pallets. It is hard to provide sufficient rigidity and support. In order to enhance the performance of plastic pallets, the thickness of the cross-section of the injected workpiece is increased or ribs are added. However, pallet structures with different thicknesses require different molds to achieve, and it is still difficult to increase sufficient support. Therefore, how to solve the above problems and make the pallet structure be lightweight and rigid, while being low in cost and easy to produce, which is an important technical problem to be explored.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of the problems that the manufacturing cost of the conventional pallet structure is high, and the structural strength of the plastic pallet is not enough, it is a primary objective of this invention to provide a pallet structure having preset shape for holding support. By using the same shape, i.e. a single mold is used for the pallet, it can be configured according to the shape with supports to enhance the dynamic load capacity and static load capacity to improve the strength and significantly reduce manufacturing and production costs.


According to the pallet structure having preset shape for holding support of the present invention, it includes a shape main body and at least one support accommodated therein to enhance the dynamic load capacity when placed on the ground with goods. The shape main body is provided with grooves required for accommodating a forklift or a fork for lifting pallet structure. An elongate transverse strip can be placed in the transverse groove. Excepting for limit the position of the support, the rigidity and the load capacity of the pallet structure can be enhanced when placed on the ground with goods or lifted from the ground. The shape main body is provided with vertical grooves conformed to the appearance of the support. The supports can be placed in a simple way, eliminating the need for a large amount of nails, locks, and insertions for conventional pallets. Also. it allows the support on the shape main body to not easily displace and loosen, and provides supporting and fork-lifting rigidity during carrying the goods. A upper cover plate is disposed on the shape main body. By the combination of the upper cover plate with the shape main body, the supports will not be exposed, and the support and the anti-torsion of the shape main body will be further improved with better weather resistance. Moreover, different required load capacities for the pallet structure can be achieved by modifying the amount, material, shape, thickness, etc. of the support.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

According to the pallet structure having preset shape for holding support of the present invention, please refer to FIG. 1, which is a front perspective view of the pallet structure having preset shape for holding support of this invention. The pallet structure 1 of this invention includes a shape main body 10. The shape main body 10 includes at least one supporting groove therein. The support are accommodated in the supporting groove to be integrated with the shape main body 10. The supporting grooves can be divided into horizontal and vertical directions. In the horizontal direction, there have a plurality of vertical grooves 11. The vertical grooves 11 are used for accommodating a support, which is a vertical grounding support (the grounding stand 20). In the vertical direction, there have a plurality of transverse grooves 12. The transverse grooves 12 are used for accommodating a transverse strip-shaped support (the transverse strip 30). When the strip-shaped support is combined with the shape main body 10, the movement of the grounding stand 20 can be limited, so that the overall pallet structure 1 is more stable.


Then please refer FIG. 2A, which is exploded perspective view of the pallet structure having preset shape for holding support of this invention. The pallet structure 1 of this invention includes a shape main body 10. The shape main body 10 has at least one vertical groove 11 and a plurality of transverse grooves 12 formed therein. The grounding stands are accommodated in the vertical groove 11 to make the pallet structure 1 be more stable. The transverse grooves 12 are used for accommodating the transverse strip 30. When the strip-shaped support is combined with the shape main body 10, the movement of the grounding stand 20 can be limited, so that the pallet structure 1 is more rigid. Please also see FIG. 2B. The combination of the shape main body 10 and the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) can be implemented by applying fasteners or without fasteners. For example, if the shape main body 10 and the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) are made of metal, the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) can be fixed in the supporting grooves (the vertical groove 11 and the transverse grooves 12) of the shape main body 10 by welding.


On the other hand, if the shape main body 10 and the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) are made of plastic material, the support (the grounding stand and the transverse strip 30) can be fixed in the supporting grooves (the vertical groove 11 and the transverse grooves 12) of the shape main body 10 by ultrasonic or high-frequency welding. Moreover, regardless of whether the shape main body 10 and the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) are made of metal, plastic or other materials, the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) can be fixed in the supporting grooves (the vertical groove 11 and the transverse grooves 12) of the shape main body 10 by glue. Excepting for glue, the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) can be fixed in the supporting grooves (the vertical groove 11 and the transverse grooves 12) of the shape main body 10 by screws, rivets or the likes. Furthermore, if the strength requirements are low, a tight fit can also be used to directly engage the support (the grounding stand 20 and the transverse strip 30) with the supporting grooves (the vertical groove 11 and the transverse grooves 12) of the shape main body 10. It can be known that the above-mention is merely illustrative, and the corresponding fixing manner (with or without fasteners) is currently common and can be simply replaced.


Then please refer to FIG. 3, which is a rear perspective view of the pallet structure having preset shape for holding support of this invention. The shape main body 10 further includes a plurality of foot bases 40 in the rear side. In the figure, the foot bases 40 are integrated with the shape main body 10 to make the pallet structure 1 be more stable.


In addition to the above-mentioned embodiments, the foot base 40 can be installed separately (separably assembled, not shown in the figure). The shape can be cylindrical, square, elongated, or any other geometric shape divided into several strips or pieces. Assembly and installation can using fasteners or without fasteners to simplify transportation and be convenient for using.


Excepting for the above-mention embodiment, please refer to FIG. 4, which is a front perspective view of another embodiment of the pallet structure having preset shape for holding support of this invention. The pallet structure 1 of this invention includes a shape main body 10. The shape main body 10 has at least one vertical groove 11. The grounding stands 20 are accommodated in the vertical groove 11. The shape main body 10 further includes a plurality of transverse grooves 12 on its surface. The transverse grooves 12 are used for accommodating the transverse strip 30. A upper cover plate 50 is disposed on the transverse strip 30. By the combination of the upper cover plate 50 with the shape main body 10, the grounding stands 20 and the transverse strip 30 will not be exposed. The support of the pallet structure 1 and the anti-torsion of the shape main body 10 will be further improved. It also provides the grounding stands 20 and the transverse strip 30 with better weather resistance to avoid moisture and rust. Therefore, the shortcomings, such as easy to age, lack of rigidity or prone to decline in performance, of the conventional pallets can be avoided.


The material of the shape main body 10 and the upper cover plate 50 may be plastic or made of other various materials. The production method is not limited to blister, injection or compression. The other materials of the pallet structure 1 are not necessarily made of a specific material. The pallet structure 1 can also be used in combination with different materials, quantities, thicknesses, shapes, etc. on the material, so as to meet the requirements of different using scenarios and load capacities. In the case that the shape main body 10 is configured with supports with different quantities and materials to meet the requirements of different using scenarios and load capacities, the number of molds can be greatly saved to decrease the production difficulty.


Furthermore, in case of the shape main body 10 and the upper cover 50 have certain rigidity and strength, in some applications, only a fewer amount of supports (or even no supports) are needed be used to form the pallets. The shape main body 10, supports and upper cover plate 50 of the pallet structure 1 can be produced and installed by using any common processes, such as applying fasteners or without fasteners (for example: welding, gluing, ultrasonic, high frequency or gluing, etc.).


According to the present invention, the pallet structure having a preset shape for holding a support is easy and convenient to manufacture. The structure is rigid, firm and lightweight, so that the pallet is also suitable for storage and transport. The above-mentioned description is only the preferred embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the present invention in any way. For example, in the present embodiment, the shape main body or the upper cover plate are also with holes to reduce the weight. In case of the sufficient supports are used to offer sufficient rigidity, the upper cover plate may not be arranged. The transverse strips may be solid or hollow. It will be obvious for any one of ordinary skill in the art that the same may be varied in many ways. Such variations are not to be regarded as a departure from the spirit and scope of the invention, and all such modifications as would be obvious to one skilled in the art are intended to be included within the scope of the following claims.

  • 1. A pallet structure having preset shape for holding support, characterized by comprising: a shape main body, including at least one supporting groove therein; anda plurality of supports, accommodated in the supporting groove to be integrated with the shape main body.
  • 2. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 1, characterized in that the supporting groove is a vertical groove to accommodate the supports.
  • 3. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 2, characterized in that the support is a grounding stand.
  • 4. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 1, characterized in that the supporting groove is a transverse groove to accommodate the supports.
  • 5. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 4, characterized in that the support is a transverse strip.
  • 6. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 1, characterized in that the supports includes a grounding stand and a transverse strip, wherein the transverse strip is used to fix the grounding stand to limit the movement of the grounding stand.
  • 7. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 1, characterized in that a upper cover plate is disposed on the shape main body to cover the shape main body and protect the supports.
  • 8. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 7, characterized in that the upper cover plate includes holes to reduce the weight of the upper cover plate.
  • 9. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 1, characterized in that the supports are fixed to the shape main body by welding, gluing, ultrasonic, high frequency or fastening.
  • 10. The pallet structure having preset shape for holding support according to claim 1, characterized in that the shape main body includes a plurality of foot bases in the rear side.
