The invention relates to cosmetic containers and more particularly to a paper container for cosmetic products.
For decreasing pollution to the environment, some manufactures have alternated the material of making cosmetic containers from plastic to paper. In a conventional paper container for cosmetic products, magnets are provided on a cover or a receptacle. Thus, the container can be securely closed due to magnetic attraction. However, the magnets are secured or embedded on the container and uneasy to remove for recycling. As a result, recycling can be a problem.
An improvement has been made accordingly, a paper cosmetic container including a cover made of cardboard, a flap and a receiving member made of paper. The cover includes an upper lid, a lower base and an intermediate section hingedly combining the upper lid and the lower base. The receiving member has at least one receptacle. An end of the receiving member is provided with a groove receiving the flap. Thus, by inserting or removing the flap from the groove, the container is open or closed. The cosmetic container is wholly made by paper, without a mirror or using magnets. It can easily be recycled and environmentally friendly.
However, the container is not provided with a mirror, so may be inconvenient to the user.
Thus, the need for improvement still exists.
It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a paper container for cosmetic products, comprising: a casing including a cover made of paper, the cover including a top, a base, and an intermediate section hingedly interconnected to the top and the base; a mirror receiving member nested on an inner surface of the top, wherein the mirror receiving member includes a closed end and an open end opposite from the closed end, forming a space inside the mirror receiving member, two notches respectively positioned on the open end and the closed end; a bottom tray disposed on the base; wherein a groove is disposed on a first surface of the bottom tray adjacent the base and on an end of the bottom tray distal the intermediate section; at least one cosmetic receptacle disposed on a second surface of the bottom tray adjacent the mirror receiving member; wherein afirst through hole is disposed through a bottom of the at least one cosmetic receptacle, at least one second through hole is disposed on the base correspondent to and communicating the first through hole; a mirror removably disposed in the space of the mirror receiving member; and an elastic band including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion being connected to the second portion; wherein the first portion is nested on the groove of the bottom tray, and the second portion is wrapped around outer surfaces of the top, the mirror receiving member and the bottom tray.
The invention has the following advantages and benefits in comparison with the conventional art:
It is easy to recycle and environmentally friendly.
The mirror is removable from the mirror receiving member, instead of using adhesives to attach the mirror to the mirror receiving member. As a result, pollution to the environment is reduced. When cosmetics are consumed, individuals can place their fingers at the notches and remove the mirror to recycle. Furthermore, the cover is wholly made of paper, instead of plastic materials, which is more environmentally friendly.
It can be reused.
A cosmetic box can be releasably disposed in the cosmetic receptacle. The individual may push through the second through hole from the base and pass through the first through hole to push the cosmetic box upwards and easily remove the cosmetic box out of the cosmetic receptacle. After use, the individual may place another cosmetic box in the cosmetic receptacle again. Besides reusing the paper cover, the cosmetic box can be recycled for environmental protection purposes.
The above and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

As shown in
It is envisaged by the invention that the mirror 20 is removable from the mirror receiving member 15, instead of using adhesives for joining the mirror 20 and the mirror receiving member 15. When cosmetics are consumed, the individuals can remove the mirror 20 by pulling or pushing from the notches 154 to recycle. Furthermore, the cover 11 is wholly made of paper, instead of plastic materials. In short, the cosmetic container is environmentally friendly.
