Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The invention relates to cosmetic containers and more particularly to a cosmetic container made of paper.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In order to respond to environmental protection, some manufacturers have changed the material of manufacturing cosmetic containers from plastic to paper. For closing a base of the cosmetic container with a lid thereof, magnetic parts are respectively provided at corresponding positions of the base and the lid. Through the attraction of the magnetic parts, the lid is able to close the base. However, because the magnetic parts are glued on the base or even disposed in the base, it is difficult to disengage the magnetic parts from the cosmetic container for recycling and even causes sorting and classifying problems.

In addition, the base is provided with an insert containing a cosmetic product, and a through hole communicating with the insert is provided through the base. An individual may insert a finger through the through hole to push the insert away from the base for replacing the insert with a new one or recycling the insert. However, the appearance of the cosmetic container is visually unaesthetic because the through hole is provided in the base.

Thus, the need for improvement still exists.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

It is therefore one object of the invention to provide a paper cosmetic container comprising a box made of paper and including a lid, a base, a flexible bending member interconnecting the lid and the base, a support disposed on an inner surface of the base, and at least one first temporary fastening member disposed on a top surface of the support; at least one storing member including a second temporary fastening member on an underside configured to temporarily secure to the at least one first temporary fastening member so that the at least one storing member is configured to removably secure to the support, and at least one receptacle having a through hole through a bottom thereof; at least one insert for containing a cosmetic product, the at least one insert being disposed in the at least one receptacle; and a storage disposed on an inner surface of the lid, the storage including a space for receiving a mirror, an end member at a first side, an opening at a second side opposing the end member, and two recesses at the end member and the opening respectively.

The invention has the following advantages and benefits in comparison with the conventional art:

With the provision of the first temporary fastening member on the support and the second temporary fastening member on the storing member, it is easy to separate the storing member from the support. Further, it is possible to replace the cosmetic product contained in the insert with a new one. This is a quick replacement.

The mirror is moveably disposed in the storage and is not fastened therein by means of adhesive, thereby decreasing damage to the environment. An individual may remove the mirror from the storage by using the finger to push a portion of the mirror exposed at the recess for recycling the mirror. Further, the box is made of paper. Thus, the paper cosmetic container is an environmentally friendly product and can be reused.

The individual may disengage the storing member from the support and insert a finger through the through hole to push the insert away from the receptacle for replacing the insert with a new one. Thus, it is possible to reuse the box and the storing member.

The above and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 6, a paper cosmetic container 100 in accordance with a first preferred embodiment of the invention comprises the following components as discussed in detail below.

A box 10 is made of paper and includes a lid 11; a base 13; a flexible bending member (e.g., hinge) 12 interconnecting the lid 11 and the base 13; a storage 14 disposed on an inner surface of the lid 11 having an end member 141 at one side, an opening 142 at the other side opposing the end member 141, a space 143 in the storage 14, and two recesses 144 at intermediate portions of the end member 141 and the opening 142 respectively; a paper sheet 15 disposed on an inner surface of the flexible bending member 12 and configured to cover wrinkles formed on an inner surface of the box 10 so that the box 10 can be visually aesthetic; and a support 16 disposed on an inner surface of the base 13. In the embodiment, the support 16 is a plate. The box 10 further comprises a plurality of first temporary fastening members 17 on a top surface of the support 16.

A mirror 20 is moveably disposed in the space 143 and includes a paper frame 21 disposed on a periphery and a bottom of the mirror 20 for preventing an individual from being hurt by the mirror 20 when pulling the mirror 20.

A plurality of storing members 30 are made of paper, metal or plastic. The storing member 30 includes a second temporary fastening member 31 on an underside configured to temporarily secure to the first temporary fastening member 17 so that the storing members 30 are configured to removably secure to the support 16. In the embodiment, but not limited to, the first temporary fastening member 17 and the second temporary fastening member 31 consists a hook-and-loop fastener. The storing member 30 further comprises a plurality of receptacles 32 each for receiving one of a plurality of inserts 50 containing a cosmetic product. The insert 50 is made of plastic, metal or paper. As shown in FIG. 4 specifically, a through hole 321 is formed through a bottom of the receptacle 32.

For the storing member 30 made of paper, a sheet of packaging paper 33 is provided on a periphery, an inner surface and an underside except the through holes 321. The sheet of packaging paper 33 is used to absorb moisture in the air because the storing member 30 may be soaked with liquid due to absorption of the moisture. As a result, the storing member 30 is moisture-proof. Otherwise, microorganisms may grow in the cosmetic products contained therein.

A strap 40 includes a first half 41 disposed between a front portion of the base 13 and a front portion of the support 16, and a second half 42 disposed on a front portion of the lid 11 so that the base 13 can be closed by the lid 11.

As shown in FIG. 6 specifically, a groove 131 is provided in a front portion of the inner surface of the base 13 and configured to receive the first half 41 of the strap 40. The base 13 and the support 16 are fastened together completely. This can prevent a correct fastened position of the base 13 and the support 16 from being compromised. As a result, the fastening of the base 13 and the support 16 is secured.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4 specifically, an individual may disengage the storing member 30 from the support 16 and insert a finger through the through hole 321 to push the insert 50 away from the receptacle 32 for replacing the insert 50 with a new one or recycling the insert 50. Thus, it is possible to reuse the box 10 and the storing member 30.

Moreover, with the provision of the first temporary fastening member 17 on the support 16 and the second temporary fastening member 31 on the storing member 30, it is easy to separate the storing member 30 from the support 16 for replacing the cosmetic product contained in the insert 50 with one having a different color. This is a quick replacement.

The mirror 20 is moveably disposed in the space 143 and is not fastened therein by means of adhesive, thereby decreasing damage to the environment. The individual may remove the mirror 20 from the storage 14 by using the finger to pull a portion of the mirror 20 exposed at the recess 144 for recycling the mirror 20. Further, the box 10 is made of paper. Thus, the invention is an environmentally friendly product and can be reused.

Referring to FIGS. 7 to 8 in conjunction with FIG. 4, a paper cosmetic container 100 in accordance with a second preferred embodiment of the invention is shown. The characteristics of the second preferred embodiment are substantially the same as that of the first preferred embodiment except the following: the support 16 has a depressed top formed as a top depression 18 for receiving the storing members 30. The storing member 30 includes a tab 34 at a side. An individual may pull the tab 34 to remove the storing member 30 from the top depression 18 and insert a finger through the through hole 321 to push the insert 50 away from the receptacle 32 for replacing the storing member 30 or the insert 50 with a new one.

Referring to FIGS. 9 to 10, a paper cosmetic container 100 in accordance with a third preferred embodiment of the invention is shown. The characteristics of the third preferred embodiment are substantially the same as that of the first preferred embodiment except the following: two buttons 60 are provided on an outer surface of the lid 11 and an outer surface of the base 13 respectively. A strap 40 is wound on the buttons 60 to fasten the lid 11 and the base 13 together.

While the invention has been described in terms of preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art will recognize that the invention can be practiced with modifications within the spirit and scope of the appended claims.
