Claims
- 1. A method of locating information on an object, comprising:
connecting a first corner of said object with a second corner with a marking, said marking capturing said first corner and said second corner so that said marking is visible on each side of said object forming said first and second corners, said marking acting to visually indicate a priority location on said object; placing information on said object concerning at least one of direction, urgency, and contents information at said priority location.
- 2. The method set forth in claim 1, said connecting includes imprinting the substrate directly.
- 3. The method set forth in claim 1 wherein said first and second corners have a common edge and said connecting further comprises connecting said second corner to a third corner by extending said marking diagonally across a face of said object.
- 4. The method set forth in claim 1 wherein said marking extends diagonally a across a side face of the object to connect said first and second corners, wherein said priority location is a priority corner and said marking including graphical indication that useful information is found at said priority corner.
- 5. The method set forth in claim 1 wherein said first and second corners are diagonally opposite corners through the object, and said priority location comprises one of said first and second corners.
- 6. The method set forth in claim 1, said priority location comprising a priority corner and said marking comprising an information focal edge, said placing information further comprising directly printing information on a substrate of said object adjacent the priority corner adjacent said information focal edge.
- 7. The method of claim 1, said step of placing includes applying an adhesive label to said object at said priority location.
- 8. The method of claim 7, said label comprises a bar code label.
- 9. The method of claim 7, said label includes a radio frequency identification device.
- 10. The method of claim 1, said connecting marking formed of adhesive tape extending from said first corner to said second corner.
- 11. The method of claim 1, said marking acting to visually indicate said priority location by pointing to said priority location using a graphical texture.
- 12. The method of claim 1, said marking acting to visually indicate said priority location by pointing to said priority location using a varying color in a direction of the priority location.
- 13. The method of claim 12, said varying color comprising an increased color saturation in a direction of the priority location.
- 14. The method of claim 1, said marking acting to visually indicate said priority location by pointing said priority location by increasing the width of said marking in a direction of the priority location.
- 15. The method of claim 1, said information comprising destination address information, said method further comprising shipping said box using said marking to quickly locate said address information during said shipping.
- 16. The method of claim 15 wherein said address information includes a barcode and tracking number.
- 17. A box having a marking thereon for improving handling and processing of said box, said marking connecting a first corner of said shipping box with a second corner, said marking capturing said first corner and said second corner so that said marking is visible on each side of said box forming said first and second corners, said marking acting to visually indicate a single priority location on said object.
