Claims
- 1. A method of processing transactions at a workgroup server, comprising:
receiving first transaction information corresponding to a transaction at a local database associated with a workgroup user client; receiving second transaction information corresponding to a transaction at a master database associated with a master database server; updating a workgroup database based on said received first transaction information and said received second transaction information; identifying those transactions that did not originate at said master database server; and sending transaction information corresponding to said transactions that did not originate at said master database server to said master database server.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said receiving of one of said first transaction information and said second transaction information comprises receiving a transaction file.
- 3. The method of claim 1, wherein said receiving of one of said first transaction information and said second transaction information comprises receiving said transaction information in an inbox.
- 4. The method of claim 1, further comprising updating a transaction log.
- 5. The method of claim 4, wherein transactions originate at a node and said identifying comprises reviewing originating node information for transactions reflected in said transaction log.
- 6. The method of claim 5, wherein said identifying comprises skipping transactions that originated at said master database server.
- 7. The method of claim 1, further comprising placing transaction information associated with said identified transaction into an outbox.
- 8. The method of claim 7, wherein said sending comprises sending transaction information to an inbox of said master database server.
- 9. A computer program product, comprising:
computer-readable program code for causing a computer to update a workgroup database based on received transaction information corresponding to transactions at a local database associated with a workgroup user client; computer-readable program code for causing a computer to update a workgroup database based on received transaction information corresponding to a transaction at a master database associated with a master database server; computer-readable program code for causing a computer to identify those transactions that did not originate at said master database server; computer-readable program code for causing a computer to send transaction information corresponding to said transactions that did not originate at said master database server to said master database server; and a computer-usable medium configured to store the computer-readable program codes.
- 10. The computer program product of claim 9, wherein said received transaction information includes a transaction file.
- 11. The computer program product of claim 9, further comprising computer-readable program code for causing a computer to place transaction information in an inbox.
- 12. The computer program product of claim 9, further comprising computer-readable program code for causing a computer to update a transaction log.
- 13. The computer program product of claim 12, further comprising computer-readable program code for causing a computer to review originating node information for transactions reflected in said transaction log.
- 14. The computer program product of claim 13, further comprising computer-readable program code for causing a computer to skip transactions that originated at said master database server.
- 15. The computer program product of claim 9, further comprising computer-readable program code for causing a computer to place said identified transaction into an outbox.
- 16. The computer program product of claim 15, further comprising computer-readable program code for causing a computer to send transaction information to an inbox of said master database server.
- 17. A method of processing transactions at a workgroup server, comprising:
receiving transaction information corresponding to transactions at a local database associated with a workgroup user client and transaction information corresponding to transactions at a master database associated with a master database server; reviewing said received transaction information to identify those transactions that should be sent to said master database server; and sending transaction information corresponding to said transactions identified in said review to said master database server.
- 18. The method of claim 17, wherein said receiving comprises receiving transaction information in an inbox.
- 19. The method of claim 17, wherein transactions originate at a node and said reviewing comprises review originating node information.
- 20. The method of claim 17, wherein said sending comprises sending said transaction information to an inbox of said master database server.
