Abstract
A party popper contains: a cylinder, a sealing element, a drive element, a flexible fitting element, and a weaken structure. The cylinder includes a first segment and a second segment. The sealing element is a film and is configured to close the second segment. The multiple streamers are filled in the cylinder. A diameter of the drive element is equal to a diameter of the cylinder. The flexible fitting element is made of flexible material with low elastic modulus, and the flexible fitting element includes a cap, a neck section, and a head. The weaken structure surrounds the neck section, and a pulling length is defined to pull off the weaken structure by pulling the weaken structure from the head to the neck section and the cap, such that the weaken structure is pulled off to remove the neck section and the head from the cap.
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present disclosure relates to a party popper.


BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

A conventional color bar launcher is disclosed in US20220244014A1 and contains a cylinder for accommodating multiple color bars, a sealing element for closing an end of the cylinder, and a flexible fitting element for closing the other end of the cylinder. In operation, the flexible fitting element is pulled outward and is released so as to return back and to push airs in the cylinder, thus breaking the sealing element and shooting the multiple color bars.


A party popper is disclosed in U.S. Pat. No. 10,603,601B2 and contains a cylinder assembly having multiple cylindrical parts, and the multiple cylindrical parts are configured to receive multiple color bars. A flexible fitting element is fixed on an end of the cylinder assembly. In operation, the flexible fitting element is pulled outward and is released to return back, such that airs in the cylinder assembly are pushed by the flexible fitting element, and the multiple cylindrical parts are pushed by the flexible fitting element until being stopped by a stop portion, thus releasing the multiple color bars from the multiple cylindrical parts.


However, the pushing force of the airs is too weak to shoot and scatter the multiple color bars forcefully and widely. Also, when the party popper is placed with the flexible fitting element facing upward, the user cannot distinguish whether the party popper is used or not used, and the party popper cannot be placed with the flexible fitting element facing downward. For example, the party popper will roll or topple over.


The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.


SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A primary aspect of the present invention is to provide a party popper which is capable of enhancing success rate to shoot streamers rapidly, far away and scatter the streamers widely.


Further aspect of the present invention is to provide a party popper which is used in a single time.


Another aspect of the present invention is to provide a party popper which is capable of being distinguished to be used or not used by way of the flexible fitting element.


To obtain above-mentioned aspect, a party popper provided by the present invention contains: a cylinder in which multiple streamers are filled, a sealing element fixed on the second segment of the cylinder, a drive element received in the first segment of the cylinder, a flexible fitting element mounted on the first segment of the cylinder. The flexible fitting element includes a cap, a neck section, and a head. The party popper further contains: a weaken structure surrounding the neck section. When the neck section and the cap are pulled from the head to a pulling length, the weaken structure is pulled off so that the neck section and the head are removed from the cap, the cap returns back to the first segment of the cylinder so as to push the drive element, and the drive element moves to push airs and the streamers out of the sealing element from the cylinder, thus shooting the streamers.


Other objects and features will be in part apparent and in part pointed out hereinafter.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

With reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, a party popper according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a cylinder 10, a close element 20, multiple streamers 21, a drive element 22, a flexible fitting element 30, and a weaken structure 40.


The cylinder 10 includes a circular cross section or an oval cross section, wherein an axial length of the cylinder 10 is 4 cm to 5 cm, a diameter of the cylinder 10 is 2.5 cm to 3.5 cm, and the cylinder 10 further includes a first segment 11 and a second segment 13, wherein the first segment 11 has an opening, and the second segment 13 has an opening.


The sealing element 20 is a film made of foam or paper. In this embodiment, a thinness of the close element 20 is 0.2 cm to 0.3 cm. The sealing element 20 is fixed on the second segment 13 of the cylinder 10 and is configured to close the opening of the second segment 13.


The multiple streamers 21 are filled in the cylinder 10, made of colored papers, and formed in a strip or flake shape.


The drive element 22 is a foam sheet. In this embodiment, a thinness of the drive element 22 is 0.2 cm to 0.3 cm. In another embodiment, the thinness of the drive element 22 is more than or less than 0.2 cm to 0.3 cm. A diameter of the drive element 22 is equal to a diameter of the cylinder 10 and is received in the opening of the first segment 11 of the cylinder 10.


The flexible fitting element 30 is mounted on the first segment 11 of the cylinder 10 to close the opening of the first segment 11 of the cylinder 10. The flexible fitting element 30 is made of flexible material with low elastic modulus, such as rubber or polypropylene (PP). The flexible fitting element 30 includes a cap 31, an extension 32, a neck section 34, and a head 35. The extension 32 is formed around the peripheral side of the cap 31. The neck section 34 is formed around a center of the cap 31, and the head 35 is formed on a top of the neck section 34. A diameter of the head 35 is more than a diameter of the neck section 34. The neck section 34 has an orifice 36 defined thereon and passing through the cap 31. The extension 32 is covered around the first segment 11 of the cylinder 10, and the cap 31 closes the opening of the first segment 11. Preferably, the cylinder 10 includes a groove 12 surrounding an outer wall thereof, and the extension 32 has a flange 33 extending around and engaged with the groove 12 so that the flexible fitting element 30 is not removed from the cylinder 10.


The weaken structure 40 surrounds the neck section 34 and is formed by thinning a thickness, grooving, forming a hole 36, or producing dashed lines.


Referring to FIG. 3, in operation, the head 35 is grasped by fingers and pulled away from the cylinder 10, then the neck section 34 and the cap 31 deform with pulling the head 35.


As shown in FIG. 2, a length L1 is defined between the cap 31 and the head 35 while not pulling the head 35. As illustrated in FIG. 3, a pulling length L2 is defined to pull off the weaken structure 40, wherein a ratio of L1:L2≈1:10 or more than 1:10, wherein the larger the ratio is, the stronger returning flexibility of the cap 31 is.


With reference to FIG. 4, when a deformation is more than a flexibility limitation of the weaken structure 40, the weaken structure 40 is pulled off so that the neck section 34 is removed from the cap 31 with the head 35, the cap 31 returns back to the first segment 11 of the cylinder 10 so as to push the drive element 22, and the drive element 22 moves to the second segment 13 of the cylinder 10 to push airs and the streamers 21 out of the sealing element 20 from the cylinder 10, thus shooting the streamers 21.


Thereby, the drive element 22 is pushed strongly by moving the cap 31 back and using a high pressure of the airs to shoot the streamers 21 forcefully, far away and scattered widely.


Referring to FIG. 5, the party popper is used, while the party popper is not used as shown in FIG. 1, wherein the head 35 and the neck section 34 are pulled off after using the streamer launch, and the hole 36 is viewable. In other words, the hole 36 is not viewable when the head 35 and the neck section 34 are not pulled off from the party popper. Thus, the party popper is used in a single time.

As various changes could be made in the above constructions, products, and methods without departing from the scope of the invention, it is intended that all matter contained in the above description and shown in the accompanying drawings shall be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense.

Claims
  • 1. A party popper comprising: a cylinder including a first segment and a second segment, the first segment having an opening, and the second segment having an opening;a sealing element being a film, fixed on the second segment of the cylinder, and configured to close the opening of the second segment;multiple streamers filled in the cylinder;a drive element, a diameter of the drive element being equal to a diameter of the cylinder, and the drive element being received in the opening of the first segment of the cylinder;a flexible fitting element made of flexible material with low elastic modulus, the flexible fitting element including a cap, a neck section, and a head, wherein the cap closes the opening of the first segment, the neck section is formed around a center of the cap, and the head is formed on a top of the neck section, wherein a diameter of the head is more than a diameter of the neck section;a weaken structure surrounding the neck section, wherein a pulling length is defined to pull off the weaken structure by pulling the weaken structure from the head to the neck section and the cap, such that the weaken structure is pulled off to remove the neck section and the head from the cap.
  • 2. The party popper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the neck section has an orifice defined thereon and passing through the cap.
  • 3. The party popper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flexible fitting element includes an extension which is formed around the peripheral side of the cap, and the extension is covered around the first segment of the cylinder.
  • 4. The party popper as claimed in claim 3, wherein the cylinder includes a groove surrounding an outer wall thereof, and the extension has a flange extending around and engaged with the groove.
  • 5. The party popper as claimed in claim 1, wherein a length L1 is defined between the cap and the head while not pulling the head, wherein a ratio of L1:L2≈1:10.
  • 6. The party popper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the sealing element is a film made of foam.
  • 7. The party popper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the drive element is a foam sheet.
