The body further includes a racket body and a handle that is connected to a racket body. A silencing layer is bonded and fastened to the two surfaces of the substrate layer through a first adhesive layer. A plurality of silencing holes are provided on each silencing layer. An outer surface of each silencing layer is bonded and fastened to an inner side surface of a corresponding panel through a second adhesive layer. A plurality of through holes for reducing wind resistance are provided at a middle of the racket body, each through hole running through outer surfaces of the two panels.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention

The invention relates to PEAK rackets and more particularly to a PEAK racket and a manufacturing process thereof.

2. Description of Related Art

A pickleball, a sport played with a racket, is on the rise from Bainbridge Island of Seattle in the Washington state of the United States. It is best described as a mixture of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. The pickleball was invented by two men. A name of “pickle” ball comes from a dog of one of the inventors. A dog, named Pickle, used to run with the ball in its mouth when the invention tries to bite the ball.

At present, substrate layers of most rackets on the market are made of a PP honeycomb material, and panels are attached and fastened to two surfaces of the substrate layer respectively. In a conventional technology, the panel is directly fastened to the surface of the substrate layer through adhesive. As a result, a silencing function is poor, hitting sound is large, and it is hard to hit a ball. This reduces experience of the user.

Thus, the need for improvement still exists.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

In view of this, to resolve problems existing in a conventional technology, a main purpose of the invention is to provide a PEAK racket and a manufacturing process thereof, to resolve a problem that an existing PEAK racket has a poor silencing function.

To achieve the foregoing objective, the following technical solutions are used in the invention.

A PEAK racket, including a body, wherein the body comprises a substrate layer and two panels, the two panels are respectively stacked on two surfaces of the substrate layer, and the body comprises a racket body and a handle that is connected to a racket body. A silencing layer is bonded and fastened to the two surfaces of the e substrate layer through a first adhesive layer, a plurality of silencing holes are provided on each silencing layer, and an outer surface of each silencing layer is bonded and fastened to an inner side surface of a corresponding panel through a second adhesive layer. A plurality of through holes that are used for reducing wind resistance are provided at a middle of the racket body, and each through hole runs through outer surfaces of the two panels.

Preferably, the substrate layer is made of a PP honeycomb material.

Preferably, the panel is a glass fiber panel or a carbon fiber panel.

Preferably, the silencing layer is made of foam cotton or fabric.

A manufacturing process for a PEAK racket comprises the steps of (a) taking the substrate layer, the two silencing layers, and the two panels, wherein the substrate layer, the two silencing layers, and the two panels are adapted to the PEAK racket; (b) drilling in a portion areas of the two silencing layers, to form the plurality of silencing holes; (c) fastening the two silencing layers to the two surfaces of the substrate layer through the first adhesive layer; (d) fastening the two panels to the outer surfaces of the two silencing layers through the second adhesive layer; and (e) drilling at the middle of the racket body, to form the plurality of through holes that are used to reduce wind resistance, wherein each through hole runs through the outer surfaces of the two panels.

Compared with the conventional art, the invention has obvious advantages and beneficial effects. Specifically, it may be learned from the foregoing technical solution: The silencing layer is bonded and fastened to the two surfaces of the substrate layer through the first adhesive layer, the plurality of silencing holes are provided on each silencing layer, so that the product has good effect of silencing and shock absorption. In addition, the plurality of through holes are provided at the middle of the racket body, and wind resistance can be reduced through the through holes. This saves the physical strength of the user, and enhances enjoyment of playing the ball.

The above and other objects, features and advantages of the invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken with the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

FIG. 1 is a front view of a PEAK racket according to a preferred embodiment of the invention; and

FIG. 2 is a sectional view taken along line 2-2 of FIG. 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Referring to FIGS. 1 to 2, a PEAK racket of a preferred embodiment of the invention comprises a body 10.

The body 10 includes a substrate layer 11 and two panels 12, and the two panels 12 are respectively stacked on two surfaces of the substrate layer 11. A silencing layer 14 is bonded and fastened to the two surfaces of the e substrate layer 11 through a first adhesive layer 13, a plurality of silencing holes 141 are provided on each silencing layer 14, and an outer surface of each silencing layer 14 is bonded and fastened to an inner side surface of a corresponding panel 12 through a second adhesive layer 15. In this embodiment, the substrate layer 11 is made of a PP honeycomb material. The panel 12 is a glass fiber panel or a carbon fiber panel. The silencing layer 14 is made of foamed cotton or fabric, and this is not limited herein.

The body 10 includes a racket body 101 and a handle 102 that is integrally connected to the racket body 101. A plurality of through holes 1011 that are used for reducing wind resistance are provided at a middle of the racket body 101, and each through hole 1011 runs through outer surfaces of the two panels 12.

The invention further discloses a manufacturing process for a PEAK racket. The manufacturing process for a PEAK racket includes the steps of: (a) Take the substrate layer 11, the two silencing layers 14, and the two panels 12, where the substrate layer 11, the two silencing layers 14, and the two panels 12 are adapted to the PEAK racket. (b) Drill in a portion areas of the two silencing layers 14, to form the plurality of silencing holes 141. (c) Fasten the two silencing layers 14 to the two surfaces of the substrate layer 11 through the first adhesive layer 13. (d) Fasten the two panels 12 to the outer surfaces of the two silencing layers 14 through the second adhesive layer 15. (e) Drill at the middle of the racket body 101, to form the plurality of through holes 1011 that are used to reduce wind resistance, wherein each through hole 1011 runs through the outer surfaces of the two panels 12.

Key points of design in the invention are: The silencing layer is bonded and fastened to the two surfaces of the substrate layer through the first adhesive layer, the plurality of silencing holes are provided on each silencing layer, so that the product has good effect of silencing and shock absorption. In addition, the plurality of through holes are provided at the middle of the racket body, and wind resistance can be reduced through the through holes.
